Good racism is a bad idea : Comments
By Syd Hickman, published 31/7/2015For a start, booing people has a long tradition in Australian sport. Umpires cop it every week. Politicians have almost stopped going to sporting events because they get booed so enthusiastically.

Of course, Foxy, you have no reputable historians to back your stupid lies about Windschuttle. Even the disreputable ones would decline to make fools of themselves, by backing ridiculous misinformation.
So you sink back into another baseless diatribe, objecting to the truth being told about Goodes and quoting Trioli, another lying lefty, who is so dishonest that she even denies that she is of the left. Referring to telling the truth about Goodes as “vilification” is devious nonsense. Windschuttle’s scholarly work on primary sources also uncovered the pathetic nonsense in Lyndall Ryan’s history of Tasmania. Ryan said words to the effect:”We all make up numbers” and, “Even if my sources are not right, I stand by my conclusions.” Typical lying lefty “historian”. Dear Leo,
Why do you persist with your insults? I suppose it takes less mental effort to condemn - than to think. I did suggest to you earlier to Google the issue of Keith Windschuttle's work. Perhaps you are incapable of accepting opinions different to yours and don't want to know. Anyway, here's two websites that may help: http://www.utas.edu.au/library/companion_to_tasmanian_history/F/Fabrication.htm And - http://www.themonthly.com.au/nation-reviewed-robert-manne-comment-keith-windschuttle-2256 Undoubtedly you will consider the websites as "Leftist crap." (afterall only "Rightist crap" is acceptable to you). Posted by Foxy, Saturday, 8 August 2015 3:49:20 PM

Fox, "Trioli asks - 'Is the AFL big enough to cop the financial loss that goes with meaning what they say?'"
LOL, Trioli and you are bookends, remindiniscent of the Irish Godfather who made offers that even he couldn't understand. You have no idea of what the Code does and has done for indigenous youth throughout Australia and nor apparently do you care. There few things the educated, middle-class leftist elite who are feminism in Australia would enjoy more than disrupting their old enemy, what they regard as 'macho(sic) football'. Good Lord, the bent&bigoted old (even back then!) feminist dinos of the last Millenium must have wasted years of their lives gnawing on that old chestnut. For goodness sakes go out and watch a game, with a dozen pack of ChupaChups to keep you out of trouble. Posted by onthebeach, Saturday, 8 August 2015 3:53:04 PM

Make that, "LOL, Trioli and you are bookends, reminiscent of the Irish Godfather who made offers that even he couldn't understand".
Worth repeating and not just to correct the minor typo. Posted by onthebeach, Saturday, 8 August 2015 3:55:19 PM

otb,
A couple of corrections: 1) If you insist on matching me with a book-end (mind you I'm more bookish - than the book-end type) Virginia Trioli is too short. Peta Credlin is more my type. 2) Your football and feminism references are irrelevant and so yesterday. We actually have access to premium seats at both the MCG and Etihad Stadium for the 2015 AFL Season. 3) As for your Irish Godfather? I prefer the Chinese Godfather - he's the one that's harder to understand. Are you Okay? You seemed to be suffering from Trollucinations in your posts recently. Stop eating those bad mushrooms. "The Adam Goods scandal - and it is a scandal shows us
how one of the truly great players and truly great
leaders of the game is being publicly traduced by a
baying, bigoted mob ...has so many people are appalled and
bewildered ...at how impotent the AFL seems to be in the
face of this truly outrageous behaviour."
Trioli points out that if anyone is truly in any doubt about
the genesis of this dreadful abuse of Goodes, then what rock
have they been living under?
And as we know this vilification has continued upon this man
run by some of the best-selling newspapers and most-read blogs
in the country. And guess what? as Trioli points out -
it's worked.
Many Australians have read the heavy, and sometimes really
terrible criticism of Goodes by Andrew Bolt in the Herald Sun,
and more lately Miranda Devine in the Telegraph and on various
radio programs in both cities. Bolt has been at it since
Goodes won Australian of the Year and as we know anyone who
thinks that this cumulative effect of his colums is unrelated
to this public attack, then they simply don't understand the power
of mass media.
The Adam Goodes saga is a big stain on the game and the AFL
knows it - but as Trioli asks - "Is the AFL big enough to cop
the financial loss that goes with meaning what they say?"
Fingers-crossed they are!
