But just when it seemed that the Zionist camp would replace the nationalist camp, the crafty Netanyahu began pulling rabbits out of his hat.

Out of his hat?

Are you sure they aren't coming from somewhere considerably lower down?

Hats don't usually smell as bad as that!?

Spare me please, you truly are pathetic “Revelations of corruption at the Prime Minister's residence”?
Really! How petty can you get?

CORRUPTION? Refunds on drink bottles?
“Palestinians were destined to remain stateless”

He NEVER said any such thing. Once again a media beat up from the Left and given your inbuilt hate of Israel and things Israel, you gobbled it up hook, line and sinker.

Try reading this and see what was missing from his interview and how it was misinterpreted.

http://aijac.org.au/news/article/what-did-netanyahu-really-say-about-a-palestinia

The non-existent Palestinians never wanted peace and still don’t.

That’s the truth.

The Palestinian Authority calls all of Israel “occupied Palestine.”
In other words, it is all their land.

They even lay claim to the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism.

And both Hamas and Fatah advocate terrorism against Jews.

These are people who have been offered a State ever since the very beginning, but have declined every time--why?

Because they don't want to share the land with Jews; they want to dismantle the Jewish State and “send all the Jews into the sea.”

1948 they chose to go to war rather than accept the UN’s decision to partition Palestine between its Jewish and Arab populations.

5 Arab nations attacked the fledgling State and lost with Jordan and Egypt STEALING the land from their Arab brothers.

After the 1967 war Israel offered to relinquish the land it had acquired in exchange for peace with its neighbours, the Arab world’s response issued at a summit in Khartoum, was NOT ONE NO but THREE:

“No peace with Israel, no negotiations with Israel, no recognition of Israel."

2000, Camp David offered Arabs a sovereign state with shared control of Jerusalem and billions of dollars in compensation for Palestinian refugees.
Yasser Arafat refused the offer, and returned to launch the deadly terror war known as the Second Intifada.

2008 Ehud Olmert offered Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas a peace agreement that would have guaranteed a Palestinian state in virtually all the West Bank, Gaza, and part of Jerusalem. Once again, the Palestinians turned down the offer.

SF. Everything you state is 'spot on'. After unilateral withdrawal from Gaza, still claimed by Hamas as 'occupied', nothing but a reign of terror. Netanyahu could not "foresee" a 'Pelistinian state' under the present circumstances. Nore can I. With all of those professing to want a 'state', as posited by SF, sworn to the destruction of both Isreal and Jews world wide, how can anyone seriously contemplate a 'state' for those who's constitution includes the destruction of a neighbouring state?

In all the surrounding Arab 'States', how many have recently held an election?

Get real.

Excellent article.

Israel is in for a rocky ride. Bibi is seen by world leaders as an untrustworthy liar.

Bibi will still be in office when Obama leaves the presidency. I suspect Obamas parting gift will be the passage of some very pro Palestinian resolutions at the UN. Resolutions future US presidents or congresses will be unable to undo. He could even bypass the congress by doing something at the UN that allows Iran the peaceful development of nuclear power. That would be a fantastic legacy. He would be able to leave office knowing that no future President or congress could betray US interests by dragging American into another costly war against its interests.

And lets hope the doomsays about Iran wanting a nuclear weapon are correct. Israel has no intention of making peace. Bibbi said so just a few days ago. Israel only understads force. When they have a a real adversary like a nuclear armed Iran they will finally agree to peace. It will be good for the region ajd world peace.

There will be one state. Palestanians will eventually all become Israelis.

The trouble with all the "peace-loving" posters here is that what they wish for, if it happens, will inevitably result in an apocalyptic cataclysm which nuclear proliferation will trigger.
Iran's ambitions extend far beyond its borders.
Australians, too, might become keenly aware of that.
In short, the antisemitic anti-Zionists will find soon enough that their support for genocidal Hamas, Iran, PA, ISIS will have been self-defeating.

Peace.

The mentality of those who refer to Israeli apartheid is the same mentality as that of the intellectual giants who refer to a Gazan population growth of 300,000 in 1967 to 2 million today as genocide.
Would that all of Israel's enemies were this smart.

So, Dane, once your Hamas and Iranian friends have disposed of Israel, will you come after the Jews in YOUR country?

Tree,

So far Israel's foreign policy is going exactly to plan. Israel managed to convince the stupid goyim in America to sacrifice their prestige, the lives of their young men and billions upon billions of dollars to bring chaos to the ME. Once stable countries are now racked by sectarian violence and extremism. Thousands of Americans died and hundreds of thousands of Arabs are dead. Hatreds have been sown that will last centuries.

But no matter. Israel's enemies are divided and fatally weakened. 'It was good for Israel.'

If only you could convince that stupid American to attack Iran. The chaos would last decades more. Many more hundreds of thousands of people would die. Islam would be even more in conflict with the west. Hatred would grow ever deeper.

Perfect! I hear you cry. It would be 'good for Israel.'

Let's hope the American just do what is right for the world this time.

Dear Dane and Tree,

I would go along with the principle "It would be good for Israel", but is it?

Adopting Apartheid principles is NOT good for Israel.
Ending up as one state with Palestinians is not good either for Israel.
Nor is increasing its dependence on America good for Israel.

While undoubtedly Israel should safeguard its physical existence, in doing so it must not abandon the moral grounds for its existence.

I agree with Tree that the Arabs/Palestinians will not give up their crusade to destroy Israel and truly accept a peaceful solution in the foreseeable future, as that would contradict Islamic principles. However, Israel is so mighty that giving away the occupied territories would not make a dent in its ability to defeat such aspirations. On the contrary, it will free its army to train and equip better without the ongoing burden of having to hold onto those territories as well as unite the country from inside against its enemies from outside.

Currently, when Arabs attack Israel, what prevents Israel from winning decisively and finishing them up are not military factors, but the objections of the global community. This can be helped if the world gives assurances to Israel that should it be senselessly attacked again even after it relinquishes all its occupied territories in good faith, then the world would no longer object and restrict Israel from dealing its attackers the fatal blows it can.

The occupied territories are a buffer zone between Israel
and Arab attack. Note the 15 tunnels dug under the occupied
territories during the last attack on Israel by Arab Rockets.

And it was they, who first attacked Israel in the last assualt
as proven by Satellite pictures.

There are only two ways to solve the conflict between the Jews and
the Arabs. Let them fight it out to the death and one winner.
or mix the bloodlines. No other solution will be found, I don't care how much they talk about it. They are too racist to mix the bloodlines though, on both sides.

There is no other way when Arabs living and working inside Israel
have time and again shown that they are willing to commit terror
attacks, even blowing up a school bus with school children on board years before the buffer zone Or as the Arabs prefer to
to name it the occupied territories came into being.

There can be no peace living with people or beside people who
will attack you from within.

There are many Arab living and working in Israel, how many Jews are there living and working in Palestine. None? because of the
bloody, murderous, racist attacks of the Arab Fundamentalists.

And they are racist attacks, not holy attacks. The Arabs delude themselves to claim otherwise.

I can live in a world run by zionists
I can accept even a level of genocide
I can accept a level of self serving corruption

But if your going to run the world you need to exercise a modicum of competence
But wherever you look it's bat crazy and the insanity is in exponential growth mode
What is the point of all that scheming to get the power to run the world only to destroy it and everything decent in it.

Surely by now anyone with an ounce of intelligence realizes the current world order is a runaway train heading down a cliff. Geopolitics, the environment, the economy, education, the media ... The entire global structure is at or passed the brink of catastrophe.
Zionists have won! They are the defacto government of the world
Congratulations and there is no country no enemy who you cannot destroy or contain
Even the very criticism of this power must be done anonymously
Victory is complete but to what end? A nuclear exchange with Russia? How many more wars must there be?
The entire world sits on the precipice - the rich have gorged themselves with theft from the citizens of the world - global debt/theft is unsustainable and everyone knows it

To what end?
And when it all comes tumbling down who do you think will be blamed for this hubris?
If it even matters.
The joy of life is plurality not this suicidal mono ego trip -
