In Palestine continuing Jew-hatred must extract a heavy price : Comments

By David Singer, published 25/11/2014

Alarm bells warning of this week's massacre should have sounded loud and clear when American Secretary of State John Kerry visited Israel on 2 January.

Hi David Singer

Here's more Netanyahu quotes:

“It is said that every people has the Government it deserves. It is more to the point that every Government has the electorate it deserves; for the orators of the front bench can edify or debauch an ignorant electorate at will. Thus our democracy moves in a vicious circle of reciprocal worthiness and unworthiness.”

"I used to be Snow White, but I drifted."

"Save a boyfriend for a rainy day - and another, in case it doesn't rain."

“Relatives are simply a tedious pack of people, who haven’t got the remotest knowledge of how to live, nor the smallest instinct about when to die.”

"“I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying.”

"There is only one religion, though there are a hundred versions of it."

Truly :)

"There is only one religion, though there are a hundred versions of it."

That's wise indeed. I do find it hard to believe that it was said by Netanyahu.

Very stupid and misleading for you to pass off quotes from Oscar Wide and George Bernard Shaw as Netanyahu's.

The mindless moronic Jew-haters stalking my articles might just believe you. They seem incapable of distinguishing fact from fiction.

Here are a few more authentic Netanyahu quotes

“Hezbollah-controlled Lebanon now presides over the UN Security Council. This means, in effect, that a terror organization presides over the body entrusted with guaranteeing the world's security. You couldn't make this thing up."

“Our policy is very simple. The Jewish state was set up to defend Jewish lives, and we always reserve the right to defend ourselves.”

“We cannot accept the fact that Jews wouldn't be entitled to live and buy anywhere in Jerusalem. … I can only imagine what would happen if someone suggested Jews could not live in certain neighborhoods in New York, London, Paris or Rome. There would certainly be a major international outcry.”

“I don't think you can rely on Iran. I don't think you can rely on other radicals like the Taliban. They dispatched Al Qaida to bomb New York and Washington. What were they thinking? Were they that stupid? They weren't stupid. There is an irrationality there, and there is madness in this method.”

“In my office in Jerusalem, there's an ancient seal. It's a signet ring of a Jewish official from the time of the Bible. The seal was found right next to the Western Wall, and it dates back 2,700 years, to the time of King Hezekiah. Now, there's a name of the Jewish official inscribed on the ring in Hebrew. His name was Netanyahu.”

Hope you find many suitable occasions to use these quotes.

Dear David Singer,

Your problem is that your quote;

“The slaughter of four Rabbis with axes, knives and guns whilst praying in a synagogue along with the serious wounding of six other Jews caught in this horrific blood bath – and the murder of a Druze police officer who went to their rescue – is the end result of endemic Jew-hatred which began in the 1920 Jerusalem riots, was embodied in the 1964 PLO Covenant, and then reinforced in the 1987 Hamas Charter”

Can just as easily be written as;

The slaughter this year of over 1500 civilians including over 500 children whilst seeking shelter in their homes or under UN protection, along with the serious wounding over a thousand more Palestinians caught in this horrific blood bath – and the murder of ambulance officers who went to their rescue – is the end result of endemic Palestinian-hatred which was signaled by the 1948 genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian villagers, was embodied in the operations of the Irgun, and then reinforced in the Likud Party's Charter.

What you are demanding is that we in the West, including the US president and Secretary of State, see the former as far more heinous than the latter.

That sir would be far more racist than your despicable denouncing of all and sundry as Jew-haters.

Shame on you for even suggesting it.

The 1920 riots in Jerusalem during the festival of Passover - which saw 6 Jews murdered and another 200 injured - was just the starting point.

This was followed in 1921 by riots in Jaffa and Petah Tikvah, which left 43 Jews dead.

In 1924 a better prepared Jewish defence force was able to deal with further riots in Jerusalem in which 133 Jews and 116 Arabs were killed.

By late August 1924, the Arabs, attacked Jewish settlements near Jerusalem. By the end of the rioting, 135 Jews (including eight Americans) were killed, with more than 300 wounded.

The 1929 Hebron massacre on 24 August saw sixty-seven Jews murdered (including 23 college students) and brought the centuries old Jewish presence in Hebron to an end

Then of course there was the Arab revolt 1936-1939 when the Jewish community would have been slaughtered but for the intervention of the British Mandatory Authority.

This all happened before there was an Israel or "Israelis" or "Palestinians" - just "Arabs" and "Jews"

The Shaw Commission held after the 1929 riots concluded that the violence was due to “racial animosity on the part of the Arabs, consequent upon the disappointment of their political and national aspirations and fear for their economic future.”

That "racial animosity" has never ceased.

Your attempt to portray the conflict as having originated in 1948 is false and misleading.

You are just one such victim of Arab propaganda that has sought to bury what happened in Palestine between 1920-1948.

Those Jew-haters who post to my articles are similarly brain-washed - although suggesting they ever had a brain is being complimentary to them.
