jayb: I had some neighbours recently, for a short time & he was bad.

Actually he was mentally ill, so was his mother. They were a great combination. The police would take him to the Hospital. He'd stay in over night, then they would kick him out again & he'd be back creating another row. Then the mother would turn up & abuse the wife for calling the Police on her son. All great stuff. Then the Police would take both to the Hospital for the night & out again next day. Same ol', same ol'.

If we had Mental Institutions like we had in the 70's before the Do-Gooders closed them all down because of Political Correctness, this sort of thing wouldn't happen. The mother was real loony tunes & he was just plain nuts. What happens when one of these people snap. Oh, it was just a bad hair day, it'll be OK.

The house next door just become vacant & she is moving back to be near us. Without the Loonys. Her new Guy, they're getting married soon, is a real nice guy. Well for a Yank. ;-) She says, I'm like the Dad she never had.
