Can't argue with that Rhrosty.

Still only s small percentage on fathers are deadbeat dads. The feminists & their Lawyers want to make out that ALL dads are evil regardless. A feminist said to me that if a father was being a good father he was only manipulating the family. So dads can't win.

Knew a women in Townsville that was married five times & took her husbands for everything they owned each time she divorced one. She said to me that she would never get married again. I thanked her on behalf of the men she wouldn't ruin. She was not happy. I was though.

The Folbigg case was a tragedy and obviously some testimony was wrong, just like in many other cases. I hate to see a travesty of justice with any case, but I doubt the dreaded "feminists" had anything at all to do with this case.

JayB "Still only s small percentage on fathers are deadbeat dads. "
Really?
How do you know?
You can't know everyone's personal circumstances.

I had a deadbeat dad who left my mother with us four kids and no support, and I have personally known many since then, but I now have a wonderful husband who is a great dad.
Rhosty told us of his obviously painful childhood and divorce, but if I told you the same story, as a woman, I have no doubt there would not be the same sympathy from you.

Rhostry,
Another person who cant accept that women have agency or should be held responsible for their actions.
Even though nobody goes to church or believes in god apparently its the churchs fault.
Apparently dads can only be written written with 'deadbeat' in front because dads can only be deadbeat and mums would only lie to punish an 'errant' 'deadbeat' dad.

Do women have any agency in your world? Are women really such febrile precious creatures that they cant take any responsiblity for their actions?

Suseonline: JayB "Still only s small percentage on fathers are deadbeat dads. " Really? How do you know?

Because the deadbeat dads are blown up in the media with lots of noise. They are the only DADS the we hear about. I read a Scientific Report once where it said that 12.5% of anything gives the other 87.5% a bad name. I believe this to be so. I know lots of very good dads.

Equally, I know lots of extremely bad mothers but we're not allowed to talk about them, are we. Not PC you see.

I married two of them, but I still consider most women as decent women. I could have had an attitude, like, ALL women are bad, because of my experience, but I don't.

Suseonline: You can't know everyone's personal circumstances.

True. Because of YOUR experience, what bias has that brought? Most women, who had a deadbeat dad go on & marry someone just like their dad. They get rid of him & go & marry another deadbeat, perpetuating the myth.

Suseonline: but I now have a wonderful husband who is a great dad.

You say you have a good husband, that's great & I happy for you. I'm glad you broke the mould. There are a lot more good men out there too.

I dare say you do Suse, It seems that most women spend their lives associating with like minded people & never see what the rest of the World is about.

I had a great mother & father, all of my rellies had great parents. The only time I saw deadbeat dads was the family up the road who put the kids, girls & boys, naked in the shower once a week & flogged them for whatever wrong they did during the week. The kids grew up doing the same thing to their kids. I know, one married my sister, that didn't last long.

I had some neighbours recently, for a short time & he was bad. I taught her how to stand up & now she is a life long friend & the next time she found a good man, who is a good dad. Braking the mould is what it's about.

Suse, there are a few bad dads & mums out there , but not as many as you imagine. There are more good mums & dads then bad.

As usual when a mother kills her own children there always seems to be some legitimate excuse or other, yet if a father does it he is always seen as a hideous monster. In a case in Adelaide a while back a mother of 4 shook her youngest child to death. When the case came before the courts the judge ruled that the mother keep custody of the other 3 children, "because she might become depressed if separated from them". WTF. Apart from time spent while waiting for the matter to come before the courts she didn't do a single day in jail for killing her own child, but I bet London to a brick that a father would be jailed for years and would probably never see his children again. As Jayb mentioned biological mothers and fathers kill their own children at approximately equal rates (easy to look up via ABS or crime statistics). Most violence or serious abuse of children is carried out by mums new BF. Meanwhile a father has to sit back while mums new boyfriend or (often)boyfriends have more rights to his children than he has.
