Pope’s political power play in Palestine promises pandemonium : Comments

By David Singer, published 4/6/2014

It apparently matters not that the Pope can ignore the Fundamental Agreement made by the Holy See with Israel when it suits the Pope to do so.

Abbas wants no Jews living in "the State of Palestine" - period.

He wants them all out - as happened when those living there were all driven out in 1948 - unable to return until 1967.

How do you come to the conclusion that Israel is an " exclusive home for the Jews" when 20% of the population is Arab?

The Palestinian people are no more Arab than the Egyptians, Jordanians, Syrians, Lebanese or any other of the Semitic peoples of the mid east.
The only common link they have to The Saudi Arabians is religion.

Do you really think perpetrating such a lie is going to work over the long term?

David Israel was created as a Jewish homeland NOT a Jewish State. There is quite a difference you know and you must know you are propagandising a lie.

Why the need for all these lies David?

Your view is contradicted by this extract from the Peel Commission Report (pages 33 - 34)

"This definition of the National Home {in the White Paper} has been sometimes taken to preclude the establishment of a Jewish State. But, though the phraseology was clearly intended to conciliate, as far as might be, Arab antagonism to the National Home, there is nothing in it to prohibit the ultimate establishment of a Jewish State, and Mr. Churchill himself has told us in evidence that no such prohibition was intended. This view was naturally shared by the Zionist Organisation, whose Executive, after examining the Statement of Policy, declared that “ the activities of the Zionist Organisation will be conducted in conformity with the policy therein set forth “. One reason why no public allusion to a State was made in 1922 was the same reason why no such allusion had been made in 1917. The National Home was still no more than an experiment. Some 16,000 Jews had entered Palestine in I920 and 1921. The Arab population was about 600,000. It would be a very long time, it seemed, before the Jews could become a majority in the country. Indeed, as late as 1926, a leading Zionist stated that there was ” still little prospect of the Arabs being overtaken in a numerical sense within a measurable period of time ”.* It was not till the great rise in the volume of Jewish immigration in the last few years, that the prospect of a Jewish State came within the horizon. In 1922 it lay far beyond it."

Churchill's evidence clearly gives the lie to your false claims.

Think again before making wild unsubstantiated comments without any evidence to support them..

So what happens when Palestinian Israelis overtake Jewish Israelis after the future mass exodus of Jewish Israelis? That will occur after oil from Saudi Arabia becomes irrelevant to the West.

Where are they to immigrate Russia? Or on boats to Europe and Australia?

Christ you are so stupidly short sighted.

After Saudi oil becomes irrelevant to the West the "Palestinian problem " will suddenly also become irrelevant.

Arab Oil has perverted the moral fibre of the West who have been forced to play along with the false Arab narrative of the Jewish-Arab conflict to ensure the supply of oil to keep their own economies functioning.

Maybe the bleeding hearts will turn their attention to the massive humanitarian problems in Syria, Iraq and Libya which completely overshadow the constant bleatings of concern for the creation of a second Arab State in former Palestine - where none has ever existed in recorded history.

Are you going to apologise for your following comments?

"David Israel was created as a Jewish homeland NOT a Jewish State. There is quite a difference you know and you must know you are propagandising a lie.

Why the need for all these lies David?"

It is the least you can do given the extract from the Peel Commission Report that I provided to you.

Ahhh David at last we are getting you to start addressing the truth.

You are so right the UN didn't set up a Jewish State in Palestine, did it?

It found it didn't have the authority to do so, and neither did the British did they?

So now we have established those facts ie no one had any authority to divide Palestine and that you have endorsed those facts, tell me how did the state of Israel come into existence in the Arab dominated territory of Palestine without the self determination of all groups of Palestinians? Especially after all the UN efforts were directed to establishing a Palestinian State where minorities rights were respected?

Now tell us all the truth. Espousing only part of a truth is far worse than being a simple liar.
