Pope’s political power play in Palestine promises pandemonium : Comments

By David Singer, published 4/6/2014

It apparently matters not that the Pope can ignore the Fundamental Agreement made by the Holy See with Israel when it suits the Pope to do so.

Wow you are really stepping into blow your own foot off territory here singer. Just goes to show how desperate israel and its apologists are getting. Their friends and supporters are getting thinner on the ground every day.

singer in what way does abbass's comment
"I’m willing to agree to a third party that would supervise the agreement, such as NATO forces, but I would not agree to having Jews among the NATO forces, or that there will live among us even a single Israeli on Palestinian land." profess hatred of jews?

After all that has been done and considering how peacekeeping works it is no surprise or insult to not accept the current oppressors into a future peacekeeping force.
He did not say no jews could live in Palestine he said no ISRAELIS. Which is just logical. If jews live in the future state of Palestine they will be Palestinian jews. Only someone living in israel can be considered an israeli.

You lot better get you story straight. Are you jews or israelis?

Good one Rhrosty

The Chief Rabbi and the Pope are in a meeting in Rome. The Rabbi notices a fancy shmancy phone on a side table in the Pope's private chambers. "What's that phone for?" he asks. "It's my direct line to the Lord!" the Pope replies. The Rabbi is doubtful, but the Pope insists that he tries it out and, indeed, he is connected to the Lord and chats away with Him for a while. After he hangs up the Rabbi says. "Thank you very much. This is great! But listen, I want to pay for the charges I have used up." The Pope doesn't want to take the money, but finally gives in, checks the counter and says: Allright! The charge was 50,000 Lira.", which the Rabbi gladly pays.

A couple of weeks later, the Pope is in Jerusalem on an official visit. In the Rabbi's chambers he sees the identical phone he has with a direct line to the Lord. The Pope asks if he could use it, because there were some urgent matters he needed to consult with Him. The Rabbi gladly hands him the phone and the Pope chats away. After he hangs up, he says: "Now I also want to pay for my charges on your phone." The Rabbi looks on the counter and says: "1 Shekel 50!" The Pope looks surprised: "Why so cheap!" The Rabbi smiles: "Local call."

Pope Francis..invites Israeli,.Palestinian leaders
to Vatican peace...talks/

Bethlehem,..West Bank..(CNN)Pope Francis..extended.an invitation Sunday..to the leaders..of Israel..and the Palestinian Authority..to travel to..PRAY-TOGETHER..TOO*MORRA...AS CLOSE/TOGETHER\as..we can..be*[pray/live..with-us/on-line.*

Pope prays/for peace..at separation wall
Pope makes symbolic,..unscheduled stop..in Bethlehem,..and invites Israeli and Palestinian leaders..to the Vatican.
Dalia Hatuqa..Bethlehem, Occupied West Bank..

Pope Francis has..stepped into Middle East..politics by praying for peace..at the Israeli separation..wall in Bethlehem,..and inviting the Palestinian..and Israeli presidents..to visit the Vatican following..the breakdown of talks between the two sides.
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2014/05/pope-sets-up-israel-palestine-trip-vatican-2014525121656783176.html
On his second day..saying the breakdown in talks..between the two sides earlier this year..was "unacceptable".

"In this,..the birthplace/of the..Prince of Peace,..I wish to invite you,..president Mahmoud Abbas,..together with president Shimon Peres, to join me in heartfelt prayer..to God..for the gift of peace," he said during mass..in Manger Square...The offer was accepted by both sides.

He then made..the unscheduled stop..at the Israeli/separation wall, which divides..Bethlehem and Jerusalem...The pope prayed for five minutes near..an Israeli military watchtower,..near graffiti/which read,.."Pope, we need someone/to speak about justice",..."Free Palestine" and a reference..to the Warsaw ghetto.

Mustafa al-Barghouti,..a member of the Palestinian legislative council,..said the pope's prayer..at the separation wall.."will remain in the world's mind/forever..as a rejection of the apartheid wall".

Al Jazeera's Atia Abawi..also said the pope's travel itinerary,..which included going straight..from Jordan to Bethlehem rather/than..through Israel,..was "a nod/to..Palestinian independence"

The Hope*STOPS..at the Wall
http://desertpeace.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/pope-prays-beside-graffiti-comparing-bethlehem-to-warsaw-ghetto-altagreer.gif

The children...of Al-Rowwad from Aida Refugee Camp delivered a message to the Pope..when he stopped to pray..at the apartheid and annexation wall...They emphasized prisoners plight.and the right to return home. This impromptu stop/was in my opinion..the most memorable part of the Pontiff’s visit to Bethlehem.

The Pope recognized ..“The State of Palestine”
(Google just did it too!)..each..had a story to tell him..about horrific suffering/under Israel’s..colonial occupation.

social media/was prominent
and the story..could not be ignored. See pictures here

The Pope/later went on..to Tel Aviv..to be was sandwiched between two Zionist Polish liars..[SECULARISTS?]..who continue to build walls of hate.and destruction:[THE/POX-UPON..BOTH]THEIR..HOUSES]..Persky.(aka Peres)..and Mileikowsky..(aka Netanyahu).

The Pope..had to listen/as both atheists..said that God..gave this land/to the Jews..and that Israel..*was..“the land of the Jewish people”.and is a*.. “SECILAR-ATHEIST/democracy'..[JUST/TRUST-US]..that..*guarantees freedom/of religion”..UNDER FACIST-LORE,.!

POPE’S VISIT TO HOLY LAND WAS AS REALISTIC AS THIS SOUTH PARK EPISODE

// http://gaschamberhoax.com/treblinka-archaeology-hoax/ Caroline Sturdy Colls' hoax was a rush job to counter the revelation that ground penetrating radar showed no signs of mass graves at Treblinka, and indeed showed underground strata that had remained undisturbed since the last ice age. So Caroline Sturdy Colls was immediately funded to try to find anything at Treblinka that could be used to prop up the official narrative. http://archive.org/details/TreblinkaInvestigation-GroundPenetratingRadarStudy
Here is the ugly reality just a day after the Pope left …

As long as their religion, their culture and their behavior are based on the racist supremacist ideology that the Jews, and only the Jews, are God’s chosen people, that they are the only humans on earth, and the rest of the people are animals created by this discriminative God to serve the Jews, they will definitely and unquestionably face a great deal of legitimate resentment and intolerance.

David

Israel's real friends understand that it will never have lasting peace or security until it comes to terms with its enemies. Semantic games and demonising its opponents will make it less secure. Istrael's drift towards hardline extremism is worrying.

Read Guy Hallowes' piece on Mandela on today’s OLO. Compromise where necessary while standing firm on fundamental principles; renouncing violence; understanding your opponents' position; patience; humility; forgiveness and reconciliation. Without Mandela showing these qualities, South Africa could have descended into a bloodbath.

Israel/Palestine still could, unless both sides grow up.
