By David Singer, published 27/2/2014

Kerry and the State Department will have a lot of explaining to do if his framework agreement fails to take these crucial PLO changes into account.

There you go again!

No comment about the video or its contents - only another opportunity to bash Jews

"Many like me will remain appalled by Israel until it comes to some understanding with its neighbours"

Are you equally appalled by Syria, Lebanon, Hamas, the PLO, Islamic Jihad, and Saudi Arabia because they cannot come to some understanding with Israel?

Are you so threatened by the video that you have to use a red herring and comment about the site where it is located?

What are your views on the video? Deal with that issue.

Here is another video on another site
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-C3UYq-UxA&feature=youtu.be

Review this one and let me know your opinion.

I did watch the video. To be honest it reminded me of the propaganda ads routinely aired in soviet bloc countries back in the 1970s. Obviously, the technological outcomes are impressive. It is good to see the billions of dollars in US aid over the decades have not been entirely for military purposes.

I'm not sure what point you believe this makes.

The equivalence in treatment you ask for between Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc is quite frankly bizarre considering the government in these countries is either hand picked by the US, or historically bastardised by imperial forces and in a state of suspended development.

Turkey maybe the only country in that region, who has not been historically bastardised and who conducts itself with an autonomy reflective of itself. Turkey is surrounded by numerous ethnic issues but manages to progress peacefully though them.

You state:

When will the bastards stop being bastards?

When will they stop their humanitarian assaults on each other as is currently occurring in Syria? Read the following and tell me what excuse can be given for what is going on there.

Tell that to the Kurds.

The Syrian conflict is a Civil War - no more need or should be said.
The Turkish Kurd problem whilst real and violent has currently subsided. In the long term, the Kurds spread over several neighboring countries is a unique issue which presents greater difficulties than those in Palestine.

Ethnicity is a scourge.

I cannot see how an intelligent well educated Jewish people can insist on perpetuating this artificial construct. It is true, I am more forgiving of Islamic countries but as you know too well, they are not as well educated, as developed or technologically capable. I am also for the same reason more forgiving of Papua New Guinea tribal brutality but less forgiving of Australian outrage.

You consistently practice false equivocation which you're way too smart for it to be unwitting. So lets be frank, you and enough Jews are extremely nationalistic and therefore pursue on behalf of and for Israel policies and discourses which are promote this patriotism.

I and I believe mankind's history cries that we are best served by relinquishing these distinctions. They retard us and corrupt us. I am equally offended by Australian or American jingoism.

It amazes me that a people who remain the most glaring victims, the holocaust, to this patriotic nonsense and ethnic garbage, now pursue the self same destructive inhumane ideology.

Dear Yebiga,

You should look at nationalism/patriotism as a disease, a hereditary infection. Babies suck it with their mother's milk and it unconsciously becomes attached to one's sweetest childhood memories, which nobody likes to give up. Many also come to believe that without it their parents would stop loving them and indeed for some that is the case, where parents may see them as traitors and disown them.

I remember as a child hearing a nationalistic song, sang by an inspiring wonderful choir, that includes the words "far away is Homeland/Mother, sighing, grunting, dripping blood", then I innocently asked my father: "Daddy, why is Mom bleeding?"

Therefore please have compassion rather than vengeance and seek to heal rather than chastise the afflicted.
