Jodelie, I agree fully with your comment. Religion makes people crazy, fills their minds with nonsense, lies and false promises.

A world freed from the derangement that religion brings would be more sane, a more rational place. Acceptance of the fact there is no afterlife would put pressure on humans to make our brief moment in the sun as enjoyable as possible for each other and that doesn't mean trying to become rich!

The combined effects of religion, capitalism and nationalism has created a hell on Earth for the insane.

People of David G's anti-Israel ilk pretend not to be anti-semites. They approve and support organisations of genocidal and terrorist purposes, and that is enough. They approve vicious murderers on one side, while labelling self-defense by the other as murder - and that is enough.

Will they speak in defense of jews and christians murdered by Muslim mobs and armies in the other countries of the region?

Will they boycott the countries that drove many hundreds of thousands of jews out as refugees and stole their belongings and homes, through the 20th century? Will they demand apologies and reparations for the jewish refugees from mob hate?

The evil of self-righteousness is powerful in the Left, the BDS cranks and their fellow travellers. The mental pathologies of the conflict prevent them seeing that claiming to want peace while attacking the only side capable of forming peace, is insane.

There is no difference between the psychology these Israel-hating neighbours of ours, and that of the actual killers. Self-righteousness, not just religion, drives smug murderers to see their actions as 'good' and is highly developed in political extremists of the anti-Israel Left. All people should be ready to speak against their insanity, to make sure we do not have to have to actually fight them here as well.
