Palestine - Rudd, Carr and Labor sink in silence : Comments

By David Singer, published 3/9/2013

Rudd and Carr have failed to respond to allegations that the Lakemba Mosque Declaration was made to attract Moslem voters back to the Labor Party.

Where in Bob Carr's Lakemba Mosque statement does he state that Jews have no right to live in the West Bank? He does express concern about the legality of the settlements being built under the military occupation of the West Bank by Israel, but so have many others. He does not say that Jews have no right to live in the West Bank, or in any other place for that matter.
For Danby to say that the statement was ill-timed due to peace negotiations being held in Washington is a bit disingenuous. When aren't those Groundhog Day peace negotiations being held?
I notice that David has not criticised Tony Abbott for promising a fast visa system between Israel and Australia. Is this not a play for the Jewish vote?
Nor has David commented on Genie Energy having been granted oil exploration rights inside Syria in the occupied Golan Heights. Is this not theft of another nations's resources in the same way as the settlements are theft of land, of living space or lebensraum? But then David does pick and choose.

Israeli Scientist Challenges Hypothesis of Middle East Origins

http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/israeli-scientist-challenges-hypothesis-of-middle-east-origi.html

Introduction by Gilad Atzmon: Following is a very interesting and important article regarding Jews and their origin. Eran Elhaik, an Israeli young academic, proves that Ashkenazi Jews' roots lie in the Caucasus - in short, Ashkenazim have nothing to do with Palestine or the Middle East. Elhaik's scientific account fits nicely with Shlomo Sand reading of Jewish's History and origin.

'Jews a Race' Genetic Theory Comes Under Fierce Attack by DNA Expert
Israeli Scientist Challenges Hypothesis of Middle East Origins
Science Feud: Johns Hopkins geneticist Eran Elhaik says his research debunks the long-held theory that Jews are a single race.

Even with only a few days left before the election is held, our Singer, who is a braying, one note instrument, has to get his Jewish obsession into the political mix.

How tiresome he is! How boring! If LABOR wants to attract the Muslim vote, so what? Should they be hung, drawn and quartered for that.

LABOR has finally broken with the 'Support Israel No Matter What War Crimes They Commit' mantra that both major political parties endlessly spout.

Carr said what should be said. There is freedom of speech in Australia, isn't there, or has the Jewish Lobby whisked it away already?

The Singer is a dangerous person. His agenda must be stopped. Australia doesn't support racist agendas.

Or does it?

There are 2 problems with Mr Carr's assertion about settlements being illegal . The first is that he does not identify what he means by "settlements". The second is that there is no foundation in international law for his statement as it relates to housing developments approved by the Israeli government. Mr Carr knows this. His statement is deliberately misleading and dishonest.

MEH,

Very interesting, however, the genetic debate is best left to geneticists. Even if it could be established scientifically that modern Jews are descendants of ancestral ME populations that would still not provide an ethical justification for the Zionist occupation of Palestine. History is a record of migrations and invasions and we all have a billion ancestors e.g. modern Europeans are descendants of Neolithic migrants from Eastern Turkey, from north of the Caspian sea or perhaps their ancestors lived in caves during the Ice Age or from a dozen other origins.

Perhaps we can claim our ancestral lands in Africa?

1. If Carr is not propagating an anti-Jewish policy - then what is it - pro-Jewish?

Carr has not raised one word in protest at the following remark by Abbas on 29 July 2013:

"In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli — civilian or soldier — on our lands,”

Isn't Abbas's absolutist view racist in the extreme - denying Jews any right to live in his new State?

2. Negotiations were only resumed in July after a three year void. Danby was spot on.

3. Any political party is entitled to attract the Jewish or Moslem vote.

My articles have been critical of Carr trying to fit Rudd and Labor with an anti-Jewish policy made on the run at the Lakemba mosque - with Rudd refusing to confirm it is indeed his view and Labor policy.

This confusion could have been cleared up very easily by Rudd issuing a press release confirming or denying the truth of Carr's declaration.

Rudd squibbed it.

In doing so he has lost the Jewish and Moslem votes - as the polls continue to reflect.

4. The Golan Heights was annexed by Israel in 1981. Given the massacre taking place in Syria now - that decision has proved to be prophetic.

5. The West Bank is presently under the sovereignty of no nation and Jews have every right to live there under article 6 of the Mandate for Palestine and article 80 of the United Nations Charter - until sovereignty is determined between competing Jewish and Arab claims.

6. The Palestinian Arabs had plenty of lebensraum between 1948-1967 when all Jews living there had been kicked out by Jordan and not allowed to return. The Palestinian Arabs, Jordan and the Arab league did nothing to declare a Palestinian Arab State there during all that time.

Now they want to go back to 1967 as though nothing has happened in the last 46 years. Regrettably time has moved on - and so will they if they want to regain any part of the West Bank.
