The costs to taxpayers also then includes a large proportion of the high executive salary of the bosses of the charities all at taxpayer expense. Ah yes, mind you its not only the charities involved specifically with boat people who have grossly overpaid fatcats at the top of the pile. I'm certain that a check of most if not all supposedly 'charitable institutions' would reveal a few facts the organizations in question would rather not be known. What really gets my blood boiling is entities which exploit an army of unpaid volunteers to do all the hack work whilst a small number of parasites get 90% of the organizational income. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR When anyone approaches me for donations to whatever ostensibly worthy cause, they had better have immediate access to an audited version of the exact distribution of funds or they will be departing empty handed. praxidice - You are right the more volunteers the higher the top people can pay them self.
They can say the expenditure on salary is over X amount of employees without saying Y are volunteers or very low paid. $75 million for the Manus & Nauru contract someone needs to be fired for that or made to specifically tell us what we got for that money. Personally, I wouldn't give you two bob for the Salvation Army !
My view of them is they're a morally corrupt organisation who've forgotten exactly what their original remit is in terms of real charity. If ever a Judicial Inquiry was needed, it's into the role, the operation, and the distribution of funds raised by all these so called charities, commencing with the Salvation Army and it's cohorts ! When I was with the coppers I had occasion to attend premises (in outer Sydney) occupied by a bed ridden elderly lady, who lived temporally alone. Her elderly husband was in an inner city Hospital, and had been for some time. As it was Christmas Eve, I contacted the local Salvation Army centre and asked if it was possible someone could pay the lady a brief visit on Christmas Day ? I was promptly and curtly informed they don't work on Christmas Day ! Nor could he or would he assist with providing me with any other alternative suggestion, in this matter ? I later ascertained by 'phone, the lady concerned spent Christmas and Boxing Day on her own, and without any special culinary arrangements consistent with the 'festive' importance of the Day. In my opinion, the Salvation Army failed miserably in their most basic duty, even a phone call from them would've brightened her Day I believe ? The only call she received over those two days, was from a cranky, cynical copper ! To hell with the Salvation Army ! Posted by o sung wu, Thursday, 16 May 2013 3:18:00 PM

I wouldn't be in the least surprised if the judiciary are already on the take in order to defect any potential investigations, probably via 'lack of evidence' or 'lack of jurisdiction' or whatever Posted by praxidice, Thursday, 16 May 2013 3:23:15 PM

Money is not being spent on refugees, it is now going to be spent allowing refugees to live in utter penury.
Now they pretend they have excised the mainland in a last fit of criminal madness just because a few hundred refugees got here. I wonder how the racist fools think anyone else in the neighbourhood is now going to bother to uphold the rights of refugees when we won't after writing the convention and being the 6th to ratify it. I believe the number of refugees in question is slightly more than 'a few hundred', more likely well into the thousands. Furthermore, I have personal knowledge of many who are living in anything but 'penury' thanks to the public purse. It would be more correct to say hundreds of thousands of old-age Australians who have paid taxes for their whole life are now living in penury because the gubmunt has squandered so much money they simply can't afford to increase the pension. In my book, providing benefits of any kind to aliens when Australian citizens are disadvantaged thereby, amounts to T R E A S O N. I'm particularly incensed with the number of opportunist parasites sponging off the boat people issue, particular legal leeches & charities. Even if the actual handouts etc are dropped to a level agreeable to the majority of Australians, the hidden costs of avaricious lawyers, charities and probably others we don't even know about, are unacceptable.

Marilyn Shepherd - A few hundred can escalate into tens of thousands unless the golden welfare for life incentive is taken away.
Now they are going to use the charities as a second source of money etc. Don't forget they are also sending money home and giving money to smugglers to bring there relatives. The Government should check where all the money is going then they will find out where they really came from. Quote "with the exact same rights as you" NO they are not they have contributed not one cent to Australia IN fact they have COST Australia BILLIONS of dollars. Quote "uphold the rights of refugees" WHY even the UN said most were Economic refugees. Something you conveniently left out. Posted by Philip S, Thursday, 16 May 2013 5:54:51 PM

Hi there MARILYN SHEPHERD & PRAXIDICE...
As usual Ms Shepherd, you're speaking absolute rubbish ! These ILLEGAL Boat opportunists, are nothing more than indolent, slothful criminals seeking the best country in which to settle. In order they may access and enjoy a lifetime of the best social service benefits, they can cadge or sponge - from the already economically and grossly overburdened local taxpayers and other LAWFUL inhabitants. It's their sole intent to simply milk this country dry of scarce resources that rightfully belong to our own disadvantaged and elderly pensioners, who hitherto, have paid their taxes, and defended this country in times of war, during their long productive lives ! So please MARILYN SHEPHERD, accompany these illegal people back from whence they've come, and very quickly too ! Because I'm absolutely sick and tired of your vacuous and dull-witted bleating, about these criminal interlopers ! Good evening PRAXIDICE... Your last contribution herein, where you mentioned in part, the word TREASON...? I couldn't agree with your sentiments more. You hit the nail on the head in your thoughtful summation on this topic. Please keep it up. Posted by o sung wu, Thursday, 16 May 2013 9:36:49 PM

o sung wu - Your last contribution herein, where you mentioned in part, the word TREASON...? I couldn't agree with your sentiments more.
As far as I'm aware, there has never been a finding of guilt in any matter (Australian courts) where a person was charged with treason. I can only assume there is an arrangements between the judiciary and the political circus to the effect that any such charge involving a politician will be considered null & void. At the very least, bloodsucking parasites enjoy considerable protection, not all of it legitimate. Furthermore, I understand the red-headed witch was the subject of at least two charges of treason, apparently to do with her not standing down when under investigation for a serious criminal offence. Not having a background in law, I'm not in the position to make an informed comment on whether or not the true legal situation is as its been put to me, however nothing would surprise me where the bloodsucking parasites & the judiciary are concerned. Runner, your little rant has given me some thought:
"Thanks Mr Rudd/Ms Gillard for a total mess. How foolish was Australia to vote Labour/Greens in 2007." Yes how true, and previous government who have permitted the Catholic and other 'churches' to benefit from the biggest scam of all, the permission as a 'religious institution' to negate them from the obligation to pay tax. In Australia, the obnoxious Catholic Church is one of most wealthy, degenerative, immoral and unaccountable institution still operating in this country. Never mind their blatant myopic view of any moral stance against child molestation, fantasy delusion and their moral compunction to actually, really, truly do some good in the community, makes them, for me, the number one target for taxation and disdain against their moral genocide and the worship of false icons! As to the Salvo's, I have acquaintances who attend their 'church' one where those in power or influence, right down to the troops at the lower tiers, are provided with free accommodation, new cars which are leased each year and a budget for food that puts my weekly shopping bill to shame. MS is delusional in her fervent love of the illegal immigrants we now receive by the boat load and has no desire to check the verifiable facts that most are economic refugees rather than those seeking real asylum based on supposed UN law. Delusion seems to be the name of the game in some of the responses to these articles, Julia Gillard and her ilk have a lot of responsibility to our residents but have forgotten the sacrifice and earned respect and appropriate remuneration that should come from years of hard work, sacrifice and diligence in paying tax into a system that is now morally corrupt and ethically bankrupt. So much for 'doing unto others as you would do unto you', it now only applies if you arrive illegally via some shoddy Indonesian fishing boat. A tragedy we will all look back on and pontificate as history reveals the truth about these immoral people purporting to represent the downtrodden in our society. And now we have some common sense that will see the 'flood' of economic refugees pouring into Australia, somewhat curtailed.
Late news today has confirmed: "Controversial legislation to excise the Australian mainland from the migration zone to deter asylum seeker boat arrivals has passed parliament. Federal Labour, with the backing of the coalition, on Thursday successfully steered its excision legislation through the Senate and the lower house - a move labelled by the Australian Greens as a stain on our national character. It will mean all asylum seekers arriving by boat can be processed at offshore facilities on Nauru and Papua New Guinea's Manus Island. Previously, only people arriving on Ashmore Island, the Cartier Islands, Christmas Island and the Cocos Islands were subject to offshore processing.' Fantastic, I welcome Marilyn Shepherd's view on this. I had the luck to visit Manus Island in 2003, a wonderful place, tropical palm trees, a friendly and generous local population, a climate that most south of the 30th parallel would envy and yet they seem to bleat and complain about living in tents, despite having clean water, free clothes, 3 square meals a day, free supply of cigarettes and other 'luxuries' we in Australia have to somehow pay for out of our every depleting meagre salaries or profits from our hard run and competitive businesses. Sympathy no, reality, yes. MS if you want them here, please sign up and move them into your property, if they don't all fit, please buy a larger segment of land and put them to work fulfilling your myopic view of what is 'true and just'. Please though, don't expect me to pay for this, although, unfortunately I will have to do so until our blind pollies realise the follies of the existing entry levels for all people seeking a 'so-called' 'better life in my homeland'. Does this make me racist, probably, but I have no desire to finance economic refugees, no matter what you, in your 'socially myopic view' deems them appropriate for status and residency in this slowly decaying 'fortunate country'. Geoff of Perth - Sound like good news but it is a Labor LIE, simply put since August over 18,000 ECONOMIC INVADERS have arrived, guess where the vast majority are released into the community because the detention centers are full or in some cases not properly equipped to take them.
Guess who is paying for them TAXPAYERS directly and indirectly through the charities. Juliar will be able to boast under her Government there was not one homeless economic refugee, she will forget to mention the tens of thousands of homeless Australians and the strain put on the rental market by these invaders. 'afternoon to you PRAXIDICE...
The offence of 'treason' was, I repeat was contained within the old 'Commonwealth Crimes Act, 1900'. Any alleged offence pursuant to that Act, where a 'power' of arrest was cited, was at Section, 8a of that Act. Whether or not the offence of 'treason' has been repealed, who'd know ? This pathetically weak country of ours, wouldn't dare have such an offence listed now, lest it offend those of the 'Left', you know, the likes of Marilyn Shepherd and ors ! o sung wu, prattling on about the crime of treason, the majority of those shot for committing so called treason were innocent and just made an example of by those in power to show who's boss! Once we go down that path, you find the executioners start working overtime.
What were you in a previous life, sounds like some kind of copper, by the tone of your posts, more likely a member of the Gestapo. >> In my book, providing benefits of any kind to aliens when Australian citizens are disadvantaged thereby, amounts to T R E A S O N.<<
>>This pathetically weak country of ours, wouldn't dare have such an offence listed now<< Your book is in error praxidice. From wikipedia: >>Section 80.1 of the Criminal Code, contained in the schedule of the Australian Criminal Code Act 1995, defines treason as follows: "A person commits an offence, called treason, if the person: (a) causes the death of the Sovereign, the heir apparent of the Sovereign, the consort of the Sovereign, the Governor-General or the Prime Minister; or (b) causes harm to the Sovereign, the Governor-General or the Prime Minister resulting in the death of the Sovereign, the Governor-General or the Prime Minister; or (c) causes harm to the Sovereign, the Governor-General or the Prime Minister, or imprisons or restrains the Sovereign, the Governor-General or the Prime Minister; or (d) levies war, or does any act preparatory to levying war, against the Commonwealth; or (e) engages in conduct that assists by any means whatever, with intent to assist, an enemy: (i) at war with the Commonwealth, whether or not the existence of a state of war has been declared; and (ii) specified by Proclamation made for the purpose of this paragraph to be an enemy at war with the Commonwealth; or (f) engages in conduct that assists by any means whatever, with intent to assist: (i) another country; or (ii) an organisation; that is engaged in armed hostilities against the Australian Defence Force; or (g) instigates a person who is not an Australian citizen to make an armed invasion of the Commonwealth or a Territory of the Commonwealth; or (h) forms an intention to do any act referred to in a preceding paragraph and manifests that intention by an overt act." A person is not guilty of treason under paragraphs (e), (f) or (h) if their assistance or intended assistance is purely humanitarian in nature. The maximum penalty for treason is life imprisonment.<< Cheers, Tony Posted by Tony Lavis, Saturday, 18 May 2013 4:31:19 AM

Thanks Tony, You sure can see who wrote that law. Don't mess with the people in power or their reps, the Sovereign, the heir apparent of the Sovereign, the consort of the Sovereign, the Governor-General or the Prime Minister.
The question at hand is how are we going to nail the Salvos. I see it they contravene section (ii) an organisation; definitely an organisation those Salvos, TREASON! Get the firing squad. Oh no, some commie, pinko lefty B's have had the penalty down graded to life imprisonment, dame bleeding heart liberals! Posted by Paul1405, Saturday, 18 May 2013 11:27:50 AM

Hi PAUL1405...
Until retirement, I was a detective sergeant of police, and I was neither 'nice' or a 'nasty' copper. I tried to be fair. And after nearly 32 years in law enforcement I have very little patience and certainly no truck with any of the smart arses who, with the protection of anonymity, try to drag the good name of coppers down. Often by means of promulgating inane, fatuous and platitudinous remarks, in the vain hope of denigrating police in mediums such as this ? Perhaps these individuals should wear 'blue' for a while and then maybe they may seek to alter or modify their distorted position of policing per se. Though for most of them, they'd probably not handle the job particularly well ? Posted by o sung wu, Saturday, 18 May 2013 3:40:12 PM

Paul1405 - There are enough on here in agreement with you to make up the firing squad!
A number of countries have got to the point where 'civilized' measures have been ineffective, hence many of the revolutions recorded in history. It would indeed be a shame if Australians finally give up trying all peaceful means to bring their representatives to heel, however given the extent to which lawyers have infected gubmunt & taken all possible steps to ensure accountability is merely a dictionary word, I can imagine some folk resorting to somewhat less than peaceful protest. There is good reason to believe the fraternity of bloodsucking parasites came to the same conclusion years ago, hence the almost certainly staged event in Tasmania which culminated in disarmament of the people. Frankly, the best chance we have of avoiding blood in the streets, or at the very least in parliament houses, is a major financial crash & consequential termination of all parasite renumeration. I'm aware of a number of ex-military personnel (albeit not the identities thereof ... for obvious reasons) who have reportedly discussed a para-military coup. Knowing a bit about the prior experience of some of these people I have no doubt whatever that they could overthrow the gubmunt if they were so inclined. For that matter, is it possible to rule out a challenge to the gubmunt of the day by a group of serving high rank officers disgusted with the infantile carryings on in Canberra ?? Unlikely perhaps but certainly not impossible, after all it has happened elsewhere ... or do things of that sort only occur in 'funny' countries ?? "I have very little patience and certainly no truck with any of the smart arses who, with the protection of anonymity, try to drag the good name of coppers down." Who here is doing that?
o sung wu You have no problem referring to children and babies as "ILLEGAL Boat opportunists, are nothing more than indolent, slothful criminals" children, babies how is that so? As for the police, such persons are employed and paid by the state to carry out a particular function on behalf of society, they are not conscripted and are free to leave at anytime. I am ambivalent towards police and the way they perform in society I certainly do not see the position as sacrosanct, when you have a large number of persons in any occupation you will have extremes, from the exemplary to the incompetent, to the down right criminal, the vast majority are to be found somewhere in the middle. I have personally witnessed police being used as a political force, used to quell those that would peacefully protest perceived wrongs in society. I am sure the position of police officer for many has rewards other than financial, and by that I do not mean only criminal rewards, although there have been and still may well be those that profit illegally from the job. A problem my party in NSW has is police investigating police, The Greens do not see the police as some kind of 'Caesars wife, that is, above reproach', given the position police hold in society and given the function they perform, serious wrong doing on their part is always a possibility. If calling for openness and transparency with independent investigation is seen as attacking police, then we are guilty as charged. Posted by Paul1405, Saturday, 18 May 2013 5:29:04 PM

o sung wu Paul1405 - There is a LOT I'd like to say on the subject of the blue-uniformed set however much of it may be better said in a more private forum. Subjects like this are inherently difficult to address without appearing intent on personal attack on a fellow poster, however it should be noted that private citizens not being ex police also have their story. My personal knowledge of the workings of the constabulary is exclusively Queensland based, other states may well be a different kettle of fish entirely. The Fitzgerald Inquiry clearly identified a number of major issues here, none of which have been fully addressed, ergo corruption, the QPS & the court system are (still) synonomous. Thats not to say all individuals are bent, but rather the ethos of the entity as a whole is not what it should be.
Philosophically I have deeply seated suspicion of ANY authority (power corrupts & positions of power are irresistible to the corruptible'). That said, I've known some really decent people who wore blue uniforms although it must be said that for various (albeit disturbingly similar) reasons, none of them are in the business these days. I have no doubt there is much unsaid in the comment by o sung wu 'Perhaps these individuals should wear 'blue' for a while and then maybe they may seek to alter or modify their distorted position of policing per se'. Likewise the contribution from Paul1405 'A problem my party in NSW has is police investigating police' identifies a matter guaranteed to degrade public attitude toward for police in general. That said, individual police didn't create the policy. Posted by praxidice, Saturday, 18 May 2013 7:34:36 PM

continued
Probably a more telling example is operation of flash for cash units (where operated by police). By and large, operational police toe the official gubmunt line by supporting the 'road safety' blurb, however there have been several noteworthy cases when a pay rise was in question and the line changed to 'we'll stop servicing the things, thereby depriving the gubmunt of revenue until our demands are met'. Hmmm, now which is it exactly ?? Clearly the police services in all states are being intentionally MIS-used by politicians with ulterior motives. A good start on the way to restoring public confidence would be to switch traffic & flash for cash operations to an unrelated entity, and to abolish utterly moronic 'Caesar investigating Caesar' provisions. Another (perhaps trickier to address) initiative would be to ensure union spokespersons don't have gravel-rashed knuckles (a la that neanderthal throwback Leevers in Queensland). Turkeys like him absolutely guarantee the average cop is seen as a brutal power-mad thug. That said, union members must be out of their trees if they don't realize the detrimental effect on their image from allowing such a person to represent them. Note that whilst these are primarily political rather than policing issues per se, the consequence is dramatically reduced public confidence in operational police. Good evening to you PRAXIDICE...
I don't know what happened here, but there's 'gremlins' in this computer of mine ? I just finished giving those 'wheezing weak' types like PAUL1403 and his cohorts a 'serve' and I've lost the lot ! I entered the right command and the word 'error' appeared ? Tried all the usual remedies but to no avail ? You know PRAXIDICE, giving coppers a real kickin', is like hitting a chained up dog. It's so hard to defend instances of public concern, with throw away lines, 'Chinese whispers', and the old chestnut, 'hearsay'. I must admit I've not had a lot to do with the Qld. coppers, just co-operation on a few jobs. I will admit they've experienced many difficulties over the years, (particularly Palm Island) being involuntary 'bouncers' for various governments in Brisbane. That said, the Qld blokes I've had occasion to work with, have been exemplary, both professionally and personally. You know PRAXIDICE, I'd really like to put some of our harshest critics into 'blue' for six months, and see how their perception and their 'intellect' works for them ? Further, we're always being reviled for using excessive force. OK, then show us all how it should be done ? When a copper regrettable kills someone. Cries are heard, why didn't the police shoot him in the leg, the arm ? I'm a veteran before I joined the job, and I've been involved in both ambushes and contacts. Mostly, you have mere seconds to respond, and soldiers ARE psychologically prepared for such events. On the other hand, police are NOT physically or emotionally prepared to discharge their F/A's. Moreover they too, have only a split second in which to decide whether to discharge their F/A., together with all the legal implications that are incumbent upon police ? It so easy to condemn them, it really is. There are BAD coppers, just as there're bad people in any occupation you'd care to name ? I guess there's no accounting for human nature, with all it's imperfections and foibles ? Posted by o sung wu, Saturday, 18 May 2013 10:56:12 PM

And a good evening to you o sung wu
I did a stint in IT several lifetimes back and often told men they really should have got a male computer bacause the female of the species is naturally inclined to be a bit funny in the head (obviously I told females the opposite) :) :) :) Best suggestion is to drop the Microcrap habit. Any of the myriad Unix / Linux variants are user-friendly these days, virtually immune to virii and the like, and best of all, they are FREE. Even Apple is a step up on Microcrap, since its been based on FreeBSD unix for the past dozen odd years. Queensland is a funny place in many ways, not least of which is the political circus. You'd undoubtedly have heard at least something about the Fitzgerald Inquiry which was supposedly intended to clean up the QPS. It resulted in a few police including the then commissioner (a knight no less !!), a few politicians & the odd civilian doing time, creation of a severely nobbled crime & misconduct commission (subsequently further watered down by 'interesting' politicians) and precious little else. Since those days, the activity has been somewhat more discreet but if anything, more extensive than pre Fitzgerald. Probably the most reliable indicator is the significant number of ex-QPS whistleblowers who have elected to tip the bucket on their erstwhile colleagues. Even more disturbing are instances of threatened or actual repercussions including people 'disappearing'. Due to the incestuous relationship between both sides of the gubmunt & the media, only a severely sanitized version (if any) gets released. to be continued Posted by praxidice, Sunday, 19 May 2013 12:26:21 AM

G'day there PRAXIDICE...
You've no doubt gathered by now, I'm very much your uneducated, archetypal and ineradicable old copper. And amongst our own, when asked why we 'tore the blanket', 'pulled the pin' and retired/resigned, or were dismissed, we generally preface our response, with something to the effect we 'survived' 20, 30 or 40 years service. That particular vocation, if you generate too many enemies from within, ipso facto does tend never to leave you alone ? Whether you move across the street, interstate, or overseas, if they have reason, they'll know. My understanding of the machinations of the QPF during those turbulent times, if they had you in their cross hairs, you'd know about it ? That's why the likes of PAUL1405 wouldn't have the slightest idea of the real culture of that industry ? Whereas you do seem to have a basic appreciation of the many difficulties confronting those within, and those who ostensibly have charge of the oversight of the organisation, eg police minister amongst others ! Go quietly there ol' fella, and thank you for a balanced view. Posted by o sung wu, Sunday, 19 May 2013 1:24:20 PM

"Be careful with your(Paul 1405) latest tactic it may come back and people could start doing it to you. (rather than say anything to you they come back with loads of your past comments)" The above would have validity if I gave a rats, which I don't. As for the regurgitated clap trap from the "conservative" elements I re-posted, I say, those same mostly extreme comments would not be out of place coming from the likes of Jim Saleam, at the very least far right extremest would endorse such emotive and ill informed comment. It is a fact of history how perceived moderate conservatives have get into bed with the extreme right, whilst all the time trying to keep one foot on the floor. Woe betide anyone who should infer both are alike in someway. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its most likely a duck. "P.S Be careful with your use of "capitals letters" you will upset officer Poirot of the etiquette police." Poirot should have no problem with the excessive use of CAPITALS attributed to the poster on an old forum, Adolf H. Adolf had a tendency to shout when addressing the public. I entered the right command and the word 'error' appeared ? Tried all the usual remedies but to no avail?" Get it right o sung wu, its 'wheezing weak' types like PAUL1405, not 1403. I have it on good authority that your gremlins are actually agents from North Korea dispatched to jam your puter, thus preventing you from delivering your truth about those "ILLEGAL Boat opportunists, (that) are nothing more than indolent, slothful criminals" to the people of the free world! You never did say if children and babies formed part of the "ILLEGAL boat opportunists etc," I can only conclude from your silence, that they do indeed. Paul1405 - Please be so kind as to translate your most resent post into English so I can understand the message you are trying to convey.
I did try Google translation service but it came back with so many errors that I had to give up. Posted by Philip S, Sunday, 19 May 2013 9:26:52 PM

>>I did try Google translation service but it came back with so many errors that I had to give up.<<
Bullsh!t. Google translation - translating to English - yields the original post, word-for-word. Are you sure you weren't translating to Dutch by accident? PAUL57D's post was relatively error free. I count one obvious spelling mistake and two missing apostrophes in a fairly lengthy post. That's quite a good standard of English for any web forum. Phil, your English is also very good but you misspelled recent in your most recent post. Let he who is without typos cast the first stone. Tony Lavis - Not very bright, there is a difference between translation and spell checking. Anyone can misspell a word but most people can still read and comprehend the message most times BUT when a message is a garbled diatribe that is different.
Where really gullible enough to put the post in Google translate? Quote "Let he who is without typos cast the first stone" By the way who is PAUL57D's? Posted by Philip S, Monday, 20 May 2013 9:15:48 AM

Phil are you German? Sorry forget that question. Now, where were we, yes, translation, what language do you want me to translate into, German. Sorry forget I said that. Okay, for the slow learner, not you Phil, Germans might have read my post, please forgive me once again about mentioning the you know who. I will start the translation now, the bit about the duck should read;
Wenn es aussieht, wie eine Ente und Kurpfuscher wie eine Ente, seines am wahrscheinlichsten eine Ente. That should help out the German speaking people on the forum, there I go again mentioning the Germans, sorry about that. That is the best I can do for now. The costs to taxpayers also then includes a large proportion of the high executive salary of the bosses of the charities all at taxpayer expense.
Year or so ago the Government announced more refugees would need to go into the community, the charities wanted this but one said Quote " we will need a lot of money to do it"
Also divide the rent they are paying by the number of refugees living in a house, proportionally some are paying less than I pay (some 6 in 1 house).
Also do they get rental assistance if so the government needs to add that to what they claim to be giving them.
Australia has not 1 homeless refugee but thousands of homeless Australian citizens.
