Okay Vic,
For a start you don't define "racism" and you don't show how you came to the figure of 70%, you could have gone into detail instead of offering a one page statement.
Secondly Rosa Parks was a political activist trained in the tactics of non violent civil disobedience by the American Communist Party, she wasn't just a "tired seamstress" as she is normally portrayed.
Yes, she was asked to move because of her race but she reacted as she'd been trained to react, contrast her behaviour with that of the Negro men who did move when asked.
How do you come to the conclusion that Jeremy Fernandez was asked to move because of his race and not for his own safety? If I saw a man being abused and he was unable to defend himself without putting his child at risk I'd give him the same advice, move away from the aggressor. You also ignore the fact that two men facing down a belligerent and abusive woman in public is a risky move, the Police and the courts are always going to come down on the side of the woman if the encounter goes pear shaped and violence ensues.
The bus driver's advice was correct and sensible because he would have to deal with drunk, belligerent and deranged people all day every day, Fernandez should have listened to him. Vic, I'll wager you've never been in the presence of women the likes of those Aboriginal girls in the video linked above, even for a strong young man there's no option but to walk away.
Then we come to Fanny Desaintjores, you're incorrect, she was not alone, she was part of a group who admitted that they were loudly singing at the back of the bus, were asked to shut up but who kept on baiting the other passengers anyway and copped a serve from some lowlifes who, true to form completely snapped and went as they say "ballistic".

Continuing.
Everyone know that the Anti Racists' first instinct is to lie, when caught out they try to obfuscate and will begin to regurgitate the nonsense they were taught at University then when facing their inevitable defeat they simply "refuse to engage" and deem their interrogators "racists".

Vic, the Deakin study to which you refer is laughable, not only is it full of contradictions, it's definition of "Racism" is basically unintelligible and it draws in as supporting evidence a whole set of circumstances, practices and events which are widely separated both chronologically and geographically. It further asserts that "racism" is not a result of any individual pathology, that it's a social disease caused by modernity...how bizarre, I guess Anti Racists like all academic charlatans can reliably call most people's bluff, after all no parent is actually going to read their reports much less question them so they can pretty much say anything they want.
The whole argument for Anti Racism is based on the same delusion of this global White supremacy and White Privilege that forms the basis of white Nationalism, it's a trap because it transposes the uniquely American concept of race and it's peculiar institutions onto all majority European societies. Australia is not a racial society, nor are the European countries or indeed the U.K, in the mind of a sane adult the American institution of White supremacy and White privilege would stand alone, the only common thread linking Rosa Parks with Jeremy Fernandez is the bus.

Rosa Parks was a civil rights activist and was not going to stand for bus or any other kind of segregation. Racism exists, and it should be protested where it exists.

'Everyone knows' in the above is simply nonsense. One doesn't have to go to university to be against racism. It stinks and should be opposed wherever it rears its ugly head.

'As appalling as the incident was, the damning indifference of the onlookers - the bystanders - is possibly even more so. For while there will always be bigots and racists, it is those in positions of authority to whom we turn for leadership in moments of crisis. And it is the humanity of every individual that one hopes will prevail - that one hopes will surface - when a situation cries out for a humane response.'

visit Regional centres in QLD and WA and see how frequent people are called white trash and worse when refusing grog money to groups of our first people. Very amusing when my good African friend told me they told her to go back home in no uncertain terms when she would not comply. Her eyes were open to open, acceptable racism because it was not done by a white man.
