So, we are not surprised. The problem is that most people don't know and don't care. I admit that I have never been a 'people person', but I am now close to feeling contempt for people who allow politicians to do what they do: particularly those who think that one group of politicians is better than others. Take a look at Dutton. Instead of opposing the racist rubbish, he squeaks for "details". No attempt to distance himself from the racist, Albanese.

I'm especially pleased to see any contribution from TTBN who always furnish's us with common sense, fact, and logic. Together with a few others like; HASBEEN, INDYVIDUAL, ARMCHAIR CRITIC, IS MISE (especially on F/As) and a few more whose epithets I cannot for the moment recall.

And despite FOXY's antithesis towards many of the issues I support, I revere her intellect and the moderate and respectful way she explains and researches her topic and responses. And I respect her as a woman, a decent moral woman as well. Many of whom in my working life were a complete anathema to me, especially when I was attached to Gaming & Vice. And NOT because women who worked in vice, did so by choice. Most were trapped in the industry by the bludgers who relieved them of most of their money and Passports using both fear, bodily harm, and deportation from whence they'd come.

Firstly the IPA is just trash.

Funded for a good part by the fossil fuel industry the stuff it produces is just cringeworthy and it is no wonder so many even on the right disavow it.

Secondly the claim the government "refused to provide comparable concessions or assurances to the 'no' case" is crap. There have been zero 'no' campaign bodies which have applied for deductible gift status so this is just plucked from nowhere just to flesh out the whinge from the IPA and feed the usual chooks.
