I'd like to see a pre-Invasion map of this continent & what it was called ?
Give it a few weeks from this post on & one will mysteriously come to light !
I'm sure Govt funding won't be a problem to find it !

The map show distinct language groups which signify long stable populations with clearly agreed borders which were largely respected and maintained.

Blathering , really ? I'm simply reminding you et al that these maps as interesting as they are, are made possible through post-invasion people & their technology. Pre-invasion traditional inhabitants & dwellers had no concept of what the shape of the continent was let alone a concept of nationhood. There are traditional inhabitant legends galore with violence related content which clearly indicate that there wasn't such a thing as a Nation pre-invasion.
I personally find these maps extremely interesting however, it is the underlying agenda that spoils them. The attempts to lift the living, social & technological standards of pre-invasion times above what they actually were is an exercise in deceit, not true history !
The really sad part is that those practising it are merely having themselves on & are disrespecting their own or what they claim to be their own heritage ! Most only came to know much of their heritage through books, records & photos & through hearsay before the emergence of the written word. In other lands they had precise hyroglyphs ets but in this land that is now called Australia no such evidence has as yet come to light ! For your own sake & pride by all means tell & show of this most ancient humanity but refrain from over-embellishing & even inventing parts of it !
