As an afterthought Ezhil,
The US, NATO and the collective West know that Ukraine cannot win this war.
- But they couldn't care less how many people in Ukraine die.
They want to inflict as much damage upon Russia as they can anyway.

Ezhil,
Guns'N'Roses put it better:

Getting back to your earlier comments, although supplying arms to the invaded nation may prolong one war, it can change the outcome of the war (despite the claims of proper geese like Armchair) and will discourage future invasions.

You ask "What is the purpose of UNO?". The purpose of that card game is to entertain the players. I've never known anyone except you refer to the UN as UNO, so why are you so out of step with the rest of the world?
As for what the purpose of the UN is, its main purpose is to prevent war. Unfortunately it was hamstrung from the start, as there was a lot of suspicion of it, and surrendering too much power to it was seen as a far bigger threat than giving it too little power. You keep rabbiting on about how we can allow war - but how can we disallow it? Short of going to war we don't have the means to directly control other nations. We can negotiate, but when so many nations' leaders don't care about right and wrong, negotiation alone doesn't always deliver a good outcome.

ISTM the best we can do is promote international law, and do what we can to punish violations of it.

Most of the countries in the world are managed by ineligible people. The so-called rulers are just basal politicians and can never be considered leaders. These politicians are more worried about various isms like nationalism, communalism, casteism(INDIA), language chauvinism, regionalism, etc. as they derive their power from invoking such narrow concepts among the voters. They see people as voters rather than as people with humanistic aspirations. Only when people of the world become civilised true leaders can emerge in all parts of the world. Let us promote good human qualities among people to see a better world for future generations.

Alexander Dugin's daughter killed in bomb-blast.

>>Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, denied Ukrainian involvement, saying on national TV that "We are not a criminal state, unlike Russia, and definitely not a terrorist state".<<

Looks like a Hit-list to me.
http://morningstaronline.co.uk/article/w/ukraine-publishes-list-of-undesirables-accused-of-supporting-the-russian-invasion

>>Italian journalist Andrea Rocchelli was added to the list following the Maidan coup in 2014.

He was killed by the Ukrainian army the same year and a file was found in the Myrotvorets Centre with the word “liquidated” written over his photograph.

'Mr Rocchelli was accused of collaborating with 'pro-Russian terrorist organisations.'

The Brown list has been condemned as a new attack on civil and social rights which critics say were being systematically suppressed in Ukraine even before the Russian invasion.

The list names a large number of communists, journalists, academics and leftist politicians and invites people to submit names for inclusion.

Canadian journalist Eva Bartlett has claimed to be on a Ukrainian government kill list since reporting from the Donbass region.<<

You all realise that Ukraine has been attacking the largest Nuclear Power Plant in Europe, with the Wests consent.
They also recently killed 100 men from their 53rd Motorised Brigade who retreated as an example to other fighters, and they targetted their own Azov fighters a month back who surrendered at Avolstal in Mariupol, because they were sharing info with Russians about how they'd been ordered to fire on civillians in Donetsk Peoples Republic.

The whole west is paying a huge financial price for defending Ukraine, the most corrupt government in Europe which the West overthrew in 2014.

- Thanks Victoria Nuland -

Are you lot who are defending the ongoing war and shipment of weapons to Ukraine going to start sending out cheques to people who cant afford to put fuel in their cars, run heaters to stay warm, or buy food for themselves and their kids to eat?

- Thanks so much for increasing the cost of living on Australians who can least afford it -

Russia has 44 million people and is manufacturing and using 70,000 rounds of ammunition per day, inc rocket artillery. If Russia can do that, then what can China do, with 2 billion people when it is a base for global manufacturing?

Ukraine is losing half of its infantry numbers who often retreat in terror and refuse to fight, without even seeing a Russian or Allied soldier.

Many companies have ceased operating in Russia.
The West foolishly thought that depriving Russians of McDonalds and Starbucks would collapse their economy, but the West is starting to face the harsh truth that they needed Russia for energy, food, fertilizers and metals etc, much more than Russia actually needed the West.
The US may soon default on it's foreign debt.

Russia is going to hold a war tribunal at some point, (like Nuremberg) for crimes against humanity, and it's likely that western countries including the US, UK, Europe will be held responsible for their part of this mess.
The west overthrew the country in 2014, and supplied weapons that were used against the people of Donetsk and Luhansk for 8 years after the Maiden.

NATO after it's summit in Madrid, and invitation of leaders of south east Asian nations has shown that it is expanding further into our neck of the woods.
