Uncivilised world! A useless UNO!!

The Russian-Ukrainian war has been raging for many months. Loss of life and property is being caused with impunity. All this happens in the name of nations and their sovereignty. This cannot be considered an act of a civilised society. But still, the world has allowed this to happen. Tolerance for this brutal and inhuman happening in Ukraine and Russia is is perplexing.
Russia and the developed world resort to economic sanctions against each other instead of taking concrete actions to stop the war. This only demonstrates how the 'rich' countries have become adept at making money at the expense of other people's welfare and, in the process, have lost their human face. They are obsessed with the idea of "their nation" and "their people". They make use of other nations to prosper but fail to understand the interests of those nations that contributed to their development. It appears that the concept of nations has blinded their conscience.

This is supposed to be a civilised world, having war crime tribunals and many such things. The media is busy only showing what is happening in the war zone and boasting of their great capability to go to the war zone and report. They simply do not understand their social responsibility to end the war through concerted efforts to educate the people of not only the affected countries but the entire world.

The developed world should stop arming warring nations as a first step. It is high time that the world body enacts a law to prohibit the supply of arms to countries in times of war. But, it remains a silent spectator. Simply issuing statements by the UNO chief is not going to help. Let the World Body show some grit to warn the fighting nations.
Veto power to a select group of nations is a great aberration in a civilised world. These so-called developed nations develop what is described as a "big brother" attitude and show little concern for the rest of the world.

Now we can only exclaim: uncivilised world! Useless UNO!!

So you want to deny nations under attack the means to defend themselves?
In other words you want to reward the aggressors by making it easier for them to win the war.
That will of course encourage them to invade more countries.

It's Nato, egged-on by the US or vice versa that caused that war !

Supplying arms to a smaller or a weak nation by powerful rich countries, in war, can only prolong the war with more loss of life and property. How can we allow such an eventuality? What is the purpose of UNO?The fanaticism of modern concepts such as nation, religion, region, etc should not be allowed to kill people. Wrong belief systems should not be allowed to take the lives of people for granted. Those concepts were created to protect and maintain the well-being of humans. But what do see in reality? They have been the cause of wars and many other problems.
Politics in the world thrives on the pseudo-social values prevalent in society. We must see that human values reign supreme over fanaticism.
That alone can at least reduce wars if not prevent the skirmishes.

Yes, Indyvidual. You are correct. Let us talk about humanism over Nato or other unscientific segregations and divisions. Societies throughout the world should be enlightened on humanism, moral values and the ill effects of materialism. war is the result of the bogus prestige of the so-called nations and religions based on those pseudosocial values.

We can, and should, all have our say; but this is extremely naive and impractical.
