Liz Truss will win, this should've been fairly obvious the moment she left the G7 early.
- She's the new Margaret Thatcher. English politicians aren't quite ready for a 'brown face' them just yet. (If you think I'm being racist there, I would point out that's what others are calling them) http://metro.co.uk/2022/07/14/why-cheer-for-an-ethnic-minority-pm-who-will-only-entrench-inequality-17000146/ "Chances are – come September – we will have an ethnic minority Prime Minister. A Black or brown face in Number 10." Liz was filmed riding around on a Ukrainian tank and egging the war on, she supports a continuation of the war, so there will be little change to foreign policy, not that there ever is. Zelensky has lost patience with the West and is now open to compromise with Russia. - But he won't be willing to accept Russian terms. http://youtu.be/GqK1Nuak1A0 From what I can tell Zelensky's willing to go back to the terms of the Minsk agreements, in the hope Russia will accept because the war has cost them significantly. But Russia won't accept the 'Minsk agreement' terms now, it's far too late for that. They would want full sovereignty over Crimea (already Russian) as well as full sovereignty over the whole of Donbass, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions as well. Russia said weeks ago, the more Ukraine and the West commits to the war and the longer range weapons they use against them, the more land they will be forced to take to make a buffer to protect their people in Donbass and Crimea. Russia will take Donbass, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson - then they will be willing to negotiate, but if longer range weapons are used they may take more. Ukraine has lost almost all its air power, no western country wants to give up their MIG-29's and Ukrainian Air Force arent trained to fly F15 and F16. - But I'm fairly certain Liz Truss will win. Posted by Armchair Critic, Sunday, 24 July 2022 8:50:46 PM

Why not ask Rupert Murdoch. I'm sure he has a preference.

One thing in favour of both Tory candidates, is they both have better hairstyles than Boris, although style was not an impediment for Bug Ridden Boris getting the top job, nor was being a clown. In Australia the total lack of hair, and looking like Mr Potato Head, will prove and insurmountable problem for one bloke, aka Constable Clod, no chance of getting the top job.
p/s Come to think of it, Boris had no style at all, so there is hope for Constable Clod after all. Posted by Paul1405, Monday, 25 July 2022 7:25:06 AM
