Smartphones  and endless distraction from real thought by social media  does the mob's thinking for them. People have abandoned their own  critical faculties.  They are two generations removed from the ability to use their minds to think their  way out of their  existential dilemma.

This comment from Paul Collits today would most likely vex lefties of of both major parties:

He is talking of course about Penny Wong, the new dud, but also mentions the even worse Marise Payne.

Sheer coincidence that they are both women - probably, maybe, maybe not.
