individual,

I think it's due to so many things.
From our system of government, our values,
and our uniquely Aussie way.

No one told Albo it was a hurdle race, the poor bugger fell at the first obstacle.

Anyone backing Craig Kelly to retain his seat? Should be interesting.

Foxy,
Despite the spin, Morrison didn't "all but single-handedly lead his party to win an election".

There was indeed a swing against the ALP but there was also a swing against the Liberals too. What happened is that the Queensland LNP managed to get a large swing because of the Adani fiasco (how are those promised 10,000 jobs going by the way?) plus Palmer also took away ALP votes and gave the preferences to the Liberals, propping up some Liberal and National seats.

In the end Morrison picked up just one seat - hardly the surprise landslide that is usually touted and it was more a "Bradbury" win than a resounding statement of support by the voters.

This time we have the same oligarchs (Palmer, Reinhart and Murdoch) in play and it will be another uphill battle for the ALP but there are a number of skeletons in the Government closet yet to be discussed.

There are still many weeks left to go with potential stumbles for both sides despite Sky commentators and others already declaring a win for Morrison because of Albanese's stuff-up today.

According to Newspoll, the "preferred PM" poll is meaningless and is just a way of creating headlines and fodder for the media but in the end the result is always determined by a small group of undecided voters.

As one polly said many years ago, "always back self-interest. It's the only one trying".

Albozo had two questions on economics and jobs and cocked both of them up i.e. the cash rate and the unemployment rate.

This twit is not fit to run the country.

> the result is always determined by a small group of undecided voters.

Wrong! The result is determined by the computer at the Australian Electoral Commission. All over the country, groups of dedicated vote-counters beaver away in every electorate totalling up local votes, then send them to the AEC.

The AEC then feeds them into their computer. NOBODY knows what goes INTO the computer. The best anyone can manage is some idea of the local count. EVERYONE is told what comes OUT of the computer.

But how does WHAT GOES IN relate to WHAT COMES OUT? The only people who know THAT are those who wrote the software.

It is, of course, an AMERICAN computer, and its software is a CLOSELY GUARDED SECRET. An AMERICAN secret guarded by AMERICANS!

So guess who decides who wins Orstrayun elections?

Anyway, it really makes no difference. No matter WHO you vote for, all you'll ever get is an Orstrayun!

As much as I abhor Albo and his leftism, I think the hooha about his inability to come up with the unemployment figure is boorish and uncalled for. I doubt that the media clown who asked it could retain every little bit of information that some richard head like himself called for during the election frenzy.

The unemployment figure is not an election issue. It is low, not because of any political genius, but because of the halt in mass immigration, which both parties of bludgers will start up again ASAP. Mass immigration is what the dipstick media should be interrogating candidates on, not smartarse let's-make-fun-of-Albo trivia.

And, as if we needed anymore clowns here, we now have another one telling us that computers decide elections. The same poster who tried to palm off on us a fake video.
