declared Anthony Albanese the winner of the debate.
So you're way off in your take on things.
And it is the voters who will decide on election day.

I watched "The Insiders" program filmed from Gladstone
this morning. Gladstone to me seemed like such a lovely
place to live. It was interesting to hear the concerns
that its residents had. Job security seemed like a
priority as did healthcare. No surprises there.

Concerns about China figured high on the list also. From
what I could gather - it was hard to tell where the voters
choices lay. Many people seemed to looking for answers from
both major parties. Alternatives kept cropping up.

I watched as the Deputy leader - Barnaby Joyce was being
questioned by Speers. It got annoying after a while.
Speers has the bad habit of not letting a person finish
their answers to a question asked. Speers keeps jumping in
and interrupting with more questions. Very rude!
I kept yelling "Shut Up!" at the TV. With hubbie telling me
"Yell louder, he can't hear you!"

Someone should reign Speers in a bit.

The debate voters between Juliar and Abbott gave Juliar the victories and Labor got thrashed.

I also watched "Insiders" and Speers was right to interrupt Barnyard Joy, every time he asked Barney a direct question about Coalition policy the fool would launch into a diatribe of how bad the Labor Party is. The thinking voter is turned off by that kind of rhetoric.

Yes the voters woke up to Abbott, like Howard before him, and the pie eyed spats and straw hat man Stanley Bruce back in the day, they booted the three fools from the parliament, all conservatives.

Just on old Stanley Bruce, he did bravely fight in WWI, unlike the coward and founder of the LIBERAL PARTY 'Pig Iron' Bob Menzies, who hid under a bed with the communists when the recruitment march came around. 'Pig Iron' Bob was all for the war, but just not having him fighting it. Anyway old Stanley was so confident of winning the 1929 election that once he called it, he hopped on a boat and headed for England, no need to campaign in Australia, campaigning was below his dignity, better to tell the English how great he was than campaign in Australia, besides the election was in the bag. Not only did Bruce lose his seat, but the conservative Nationals lost half their seat in parliament.

ps Bruce was so conservative he was still wearing spats and a straw bota 10 years after they had gone out of fashion. That's nothing, some
of the conservative hard right on here are still wearing that same outfit.

Labor sucking up to China, but rubbishing Chinese Liu because she is a Liberal. How about Chinese Wong!

Speer's technique sound like standard pressure tactics. Piers Morgan and others are well know for these- but he seems to use them more equally than some- not sure he's not biased but less biased than some
