Paul, you would remember the Chronulla riots, and they were about Muslims creating conflict at local Chronulla beach - that was the wisdom behind not having a Muslim run in the Seat of Cook which includes Chronulla. It had nothing to do with being lebanese, as Gladys former NSW Premier is lebanese. It was the fact of being Muslim representing the area for the Liberals.

Some Academic Bias Club reporter said this morning that Morrison was racist because that Lebanese chap was Muslim.

Paul SBS and 7 News has been saying Michael Towke is a Muslim, and the Muslim community has come out in support of Scott Morrison. It is the news reporting that has misrepresented the facts. I have several Lebanese Christian friends from Church - wonderful people.
