Once again you have posted absolute bollocks. Britain never had to pay war reparations to the US. What they did have to pay back was the purchase of destroyers and other equipment prior to the US joining the war.

That Britain was financially in a bad way is not in dispute, but the extreme socialism imposed by Attlee doomed the UK industry to slow decline.
