I did indeed & you can't or more like don't want to see my point which is people who settle on mud & sandbanks are now chasing class action against the rest of us for compensation due to sea level rise. Would you accept their application for insurance if you were an insurance company ?

Structural engineers take soil tests and design pile
foundations sitting on deep underground rock and
build on top of those piles. If piles are not driven
deep enough building will sink into the ground. As
was the case on record at the Sydney Olympic site.
What happened was the fault of the engineers. Inadequate
tests were conducted on the soil conditions under the
buildings that started to sink.

As for insurance companies? You can contact them and they
will answer your questions.
