Who on earth is this J Bowyer? If you said your name was Elizabeth Windsor I would have a fair idea who you are. As for JBowyer, could be anyone, even a bomb throwing Nazi nutcase for all I know. I have absolutely no interest in finding out who JBowyer is. Given the possibility, ever so slight it may be, that you are indeed a bomb throwing Nazi nutcase I see no reason to expose my name to you. Why does it interest you so? I think you'll find the Nazis and other extremists are not "long gone" but are infiltrating the Liberal Party and some ex-Libs are are even starting to form their own far right-wing parties.

We meet again on the Forum, I agree there are people like George Christensen who operate within the framework of the Coalition parties, but given the right circumstance voice their extremism. I use the term Nazi, as a bit of a gee up for the far right, they hate the word, not for what it stands for in the classical sense Hitler and Himmler and people in gas chambers, 60 million deaths etc, but for the evil connotations it invokes. How would it be before an election doing a door knock; "Good morning, my name is Schulz I am from the local Nazi Party, can I count on your vote on Saturday." Unless its who know whose house me thinks not. Substitute Liberal Party for Nazi Party and you're in with a chance.

Back in the day in Sydney I was a member of the ALP, there was a Liberal Party faction known as the "Uglys". Eastern European men who had supposedly fled communism post WWII. Many had been active Nazi sympathisers back home and fled fearing retribution. They were active in Eastern Orthodox churches and that community. These guys were extreme and prone to violence, even moderate Liberals feared them. With branch stacking they got a couple of their members elected to the NSW parliament, and one to the Federal parliament.
