I think Trump is doing a good job despite the challenges. I wish him the very best for the election. We'll see what happens. The Lefties went crazy last election when he won-they've been going crazy recently- I'd love to see what the lefties do if Trump wins.

Loudmouth said- "Of course, sewer rats like Runner will applaud Trumpf and guffaw at the chaos of the epidemic. 'Yuk ! Yuk ! That'll show 'em !' Very dangerous times for the US."
Answer- So Runner is a sewer rat according to Loudmouth. I guess the government should kill Runner as a diseased Bubonic plague- it's a tool in the toolbox of human activity I guess. Maybe we should trap Runner and Trump (don't forget the families) and spray them with Sulfurozador- it's great to see the last seconds of suffering as the rat dies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubonic_plague#Prevention Good on you "Comrade Loudmouth". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_killings_under_communist_regimes#Estimates "In 1994, R. J. Rummel's book Death by Government included about 110 million people, foreign and domestic, killed by communist democide from 1900 to 1987" Posted by Canem Malum, Thursday, 29 October 2020 6:55:42 PM

Hi
See newly created General Discussion thread "TRUMP TIPPED TO WIN ELECTION" at http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?discussion=9299&page=0 It sports lots of research for the Trump Win proposition. Posted by plantagenet, Thursday, 29 October 2020 9:02:29 PM

CM,
No, vastly more people were killed under 'communist' regimes than you cite. More were killed BEFORE the War than the figures you cite. The final total - the current total - may be in the hundreds of millions. The Soviet Union. The various coups, 'revolutions', uprisings, etc. Great numbers 'had' to be 'extracted' for the 'good of the people'. China; North Korea; Vietnam; sundry Eastern European countries; Cuba; various African 'socialist' countries, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Benin, Guinee, Burkina Faso. Bankrupt systems, hopefully never replicated. Joe Posted by loudmouth2, Thursday, 29 October 2020 9:27:09 PM

Hi Chris,
On postal voting, here's an item about some of the dangers (surely predicted ?) of in-person voting: http://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/10/28/world/covid-19-coronavirus-updates?name=styln-coronavirus®ion=TOP_BANNER&block=storyline_menu_recirc&action=click&pgtype=Interactive&impression_id=56f91c90-1970-11eb-94cc-1188e9555ac9&variant=1_Show#the-virus-is-complicating-the-election-as-poll-workers-test-positive-and-voting-sites-are-closed Wouldn't it be just so much easier, given that there is no extra hassle about fraud and postal voting, to open the voting - by post, with all the extra safeguards known to humanity - say a month earlier than the election day ? The Yanks are weird: why hold an election in what may be early Winter in the northern-central states, and on a bloody Tuesday ? Obviously this would inhibit voters who have to leave work early, etc. Being naturally paranoid, it seems to me to be a cunning plan to discourage voters from turning out and exercising their democratic right to vote, one of their most fundamental rights in a democracy. And again, the difficulties arising from that archaic procedure could be avoided by postal voting. And let's pray that there are no early Winter blizzards on Tuesday.
