The thought that women, I assume we are talking about EVERY woman in the world, need to be empowered, oh and BTW I have no friggin idea which form empowerment we are talking about, because for as long as I have been alive all the women I have come into contact with, were all pretty settled and new what they wanted, and were either achieving it or had been for some time.
For the life of me I never understood what was wrong with being a woman.
Apart from those who ended up with a dead beat husband, if she suspected something before they got married then she should have said NO.
If she thought she was going to change him, then she did not try hard enough, either way, too bad, suck it up and get on with it, because most women end up making a third mistake, by stuffing up their children's lives by going from loser to loser, thereafter.
NO, it is generally understood and believed so for some time now, enough is enough, women have had their moment, it was of no real value or use, which was mentioned time and again before all this crap started,
We THE MEN, gave them their head and look at what a mess they have made of it.
We have backed them all they way, even with stupid suggestions such as there should be a 50/50 split men/women, EVERYWHERE!
This statement alone gets me unlocking the mental asylum doors, as soon a they try to justify it, I open said doors, and if they keep talking I start dragging them inside and locking them up.
If anyone cannot see the results of womens empowerment, they are not looking at the correct evidence, or just don.t want to see it!

I just hope nobody comes up with an international mens' day. How frightul it would be to think we needed something as petty as that. No disrespect intended to the millions of women who also think the whole business is crap they don't need.

It's obvious some of the Forum Old Farts fear women. Probably dominated by a number of more assertive females in their lifetime, mother, wife, boss, etc, and now through feelings of resentment want to lash out at women. Look at ALTRAV typical. Then there is runner, who would like to sacrifice a vergin or two on the altar of his god, just to get even.

ALL women are entitled to the same rights that you enjoy - women in the West, Muslim women, ALL women. No more and no less.

Or do you want somebody to compare the 'great privilege' that you enjoy, like me as a bloke in the West, compared to women in the West ? Who cooks your meals ? Washes your clothes ? Does the actual house-cleaning ? Even puts out the garbage ? Cleans the toilet ? Vacuums ? Do you do half of all that, or a bit less than half ?

That's quite a despicable comparison, really.

NO!
We were not the influence and never have been.
Any attempt by the West to interfere with a foreign country has been met with varying degrees of rejection and resistance.
