Ezhil,

In the ancient Greek democracy, there were groups who followed one man and voted accordingly, party politics.

Dear Josephus,

You write; “Steel shows his political bias in his claim some Republicans see Trump as guilty as hell, he fails to show that three Democrats voted with the Democrats in congress”

You really are utterly inept at this aren't you.

Anyway shall we cut to the chase and focus where it matters, on the Senate.

There have been three impeachment attempts on presidents. Andrew Jackson, Bill Clinton and Trump all with two articles each.

There were plenty of Republicans in the Senate who voted for Clinton's acquittal just as there were plenty of Republican senators who voted to acquit Andrew Jackson.

Not a single Democrat Senator voted to acquit Trump.

But far more significantly this was the first time in American's long history that a member of a president’s party to vote to convict that president.

As far as i know trump is a neutral president. I do not know how some on this site see him as a republican. He could have gone either way. Trump has been good for America. The democrats are full of lice driven by a handful of far out politicians. He obviously did not like the Obama style of stepping back from being world police man.
China needs to be contained as they are out of control, and dangerous. With this virus running wild their people are not happy and hopefully it emerges into a ground swell of opposition.

Can't we talk about a democracy and forget about America. I'm voting for Colonel Bernie Sanders and his promise of "free chicken for All!"

At least Is Mise they recognised a 'man'. Democrats tell us that biology lies and their is no such thing as gender.

Ezhil,

It was clear from the day Trump was elected that the democrats wanted to impeach him, according to the democrats he was guilty and they simply needed to find out what for.

It was also clear from the start that the democrats had no intention of following due process and that their aim was to throw as much mud as possible at Trump with the result that by the time the vote came for impeachment there was lots of hype but more opinion than actual evidence.

So while lots of people believe that Trump is guilty, the shockingly bad case prepared by the democrats was summarily dismissed by the Senate and Trump was exonerated.
