Greedy constituents outnumber greedy politicians by millions !

Maybe we could have it investigate Gladys Liu's affiliation with the Chinese Communist Party.

The silly thing is, pouring money into shaky electorates doesn't always work. A truckload of money put into Warringah was no use to Tony Abbott, for instance.

I think, though, that we would all agree that politicians should be prevented from treating our money as if it is their money. Further, sporting and other self-interested groups should be raising their own money from their own area. Government (taxpayer) grants should only be used for things like the current fire disaster.

If this is true, it throws a whole different light on the matter: Sky News claims that McKenzie bunged 36 grand to her own gun club - and didn't declare it.

As head of the government, Scott Morrison can stand down McKenzie while the matter is investigated, and sack her from her portfolio if she has done anything wrong. The National Party leader is also able to take action against her if he thinks she has brought embarrassment down on her party.

No need for an ICAC.

Except for gun clubs who are required by law to have their members attend the range, therefore Government should and do, fund the ranges.
