Paul1405,
So, what do you suggest would be a way to stave off all those dire predictions ? Please don't say Govt should do "something" ! Posted by individual, Saturday, 18 January 2020 10:12:23 PM

Announcing new prophet Paul
'Do you lads believe climate change will cause nothing more than bushfires? Got news for you buddy, extremes of weather are not confined to drought, floods and winds are just as likely, get used to it, its the new norm.' Hopefully predicting the future will bring a halt to him rewriting history. Posted by runner, Saturday, 18 January 2020 10:28:20 PM

Again Paul, if you want to be taken seriously you have to keep up with the facts.
Even NASA have published figures showing all forms of extreme weather have diminished over the last 15 years. You need to read something other than green propaganda to get some knowledge, of the facts of life, & gain some credibility. Hell I even told you in an earlier post that the theory is that it will reduce the temperature difference between the tropics & the poles & thus the potential for extreme weather. About the only evidence that the globe is warming is the fact that extreme weather is diminishing. Posted by Hasbeen, Saturday, 18 January 2020 11:23:31 PM

"Extreem weather is part of climite change."
So that means it's ok to not plan for extreem weather because you're putting your plans in other nations to get their act together? Climite change is a scapegoat! Blame China, blame cooperations, blame politicians, blame your neighbor's oil leaking car and another neighbor who always has their lights on. When instead you should make plans for disaster that you can act on. Take a lesson from tornado alley in the US. they have tornado shelters, plans for what to do when extreem weather hits, and then make sure everyone is contacted and ok after it's over. Don't blame climate change and wait for other nations to fix your disasters. Be better then that. Learn from the brush fire so that next time it won't be as bad. Act on reducing the fire fuel, or at least keeping the fuel a safe distance away from homes, buildings, and roads. Learn from the flood areas and plan accordingly. It isn't climite change if it happens more then once. At that point it's negligence to the issue, not climite change invoked extreem weather. Hassy, it would be nice if you put up a reference for your claims once in a while. Unless of course that crusty old bloke down the road you rely on to debunk climate change science is coincidentally also named Nasa.
NASA reveals 2019 is the second warmest year after 2016 since records begun in 1880. A reference for Hassy, http://climate.nasa.gov/news/2945/nasa-noaa-analyses-reveal-2019-second-warmest-year-on-record/ Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 19 January 2020 8:37:09 AM
