I would have thought that legally, Maori rights to land were safeguarded under standard British common law, and that if the Public Works Act contained clauses about compulsory acquisition of land without compensation, it would have been in breach of those legal safeguards.

Another Islamic terror attack with stabbings near London Bridge reported today. PC police have admitted that it was a terror attack, and the terrorist was shot by police at the scene.
