My nephew was attacked by several bullies on
the campus of the Southern Cross University at
Lismore and bashed so badly that he'had to
have a plate put into his head. And this was
because he came to the aid of a young girl.
Today he still suffers from the repercussions
of that act.
My own boys were bullied at Xavier College.
A private Catholic School here in Melbourne.
My husband enrolled them into self-defense
classes and one son did exceptionally well
earning his black belt. Things changed dramatically
after that for him. Not only was he able to come
to his brother's aid - but he ended up being asked
to coach some of the other boys in the art.
Gaining a great deal of respect from both teachers
and the kids.
