Where I live is a 'Chinese colony' and the moronic council, that my suburb is in, letterboxed us last week actually BRAGGING that the population within its boundary is 41% foreign-born. It seems that the self-haters cannot wait until we are outnumbered by foreigners.

We need never fear the Chinese will ever invade us? Why should they, they (almost) own us? Generally speaking, you don't need to invade your property. The arrival of four Chinese warships in Sydney was just another way of giving us a veiled warning of the consequence for flouting their authority over us.

And where was ANZUS? Why wasn't a flotilla of US and NZ warships to greet them, albeit peacefully? I've heard a rumour we have or had a small Navy once upon a time. Were they all on leave or stood-down due to lack of interest? We're so weak, as a Nation and as individuals? If we had any courage at all, we'd throw these inept, decrepit politicians aside, and put someone in, who'd strengthen and enhance our Military.

I've no doubt Pine Gap would've been keeping an eye on this maritime circus. Nevertheless, a force in kind would've sent China a very unambiguous message of, don't 'fu.k' with our sovereignty pal!

I have honest doubts confrontation would be of any help
And to while not well timed the government was not bending to China by ok ing this visit at this time
China owns us, well we did sell them Dawin, or part of it
Truth is our future is bound to trade with China
But even its own people, see riots in Hong Kong, are not free to do as they wish
Reminiscent of Japan in 1936

The only real difference between the Chinese and Australians, apart from language and eye contours, is that the Australians tend to take a larger size in Chinese made clothing.
