Dear Wahine,

Politics despite all the moral delinquency shovelled
on the head of politicians, they are the men and women
who work the machinery of our liberal democratic way
of life. They reflect public opinion - and at their
best lead public opinion - and transmute it into laws
that shape our society and our country.

We have many unresolved problems that face us, especially
addressing Indigenous disadvantage, climate change,
the funding of our infrastructures, our hospitals,
schools, aged care, people with disabilities,
and the list goes on. We must deal
with these to move forward as a free, fair and vibrant
society. I have no doubt we can find the solutions that
suit us, provided we do not succumb to the siren calls of
demagogues, charlatans and ideologues.

We now have opportunities we never had before in
Australia's history. The best years for our country are
still ahead of us - all we need is the right leadership.
So - think carefully before you cast your vote.

public's mind.

If Advance Australia doesn't have the money
to spend on advertising that will sway their
target electorate (like Abbott's Warringah)
then they need to fire up the base and get
their people knocking on doors. Try chainging
votes one-by-one. People power.

What the heck are they giving people with Captain
Getup? A superhero that can't fly? Does anyone
know what's the alternative being proposed or what
the issues are that this guy represents?
