Had you Grammarly installed you'd have been told that a comma comes after 'truth' and that nitpicker is one word.
I am a nitpicker of substance, and a pedant of long practice but to spare your feelings I usually ignore your linguistic gaffes.
I will point out to you, so that you may increase your knowledge, that although 'coastwatcher' is generic, 'Australian coast watchers' as you used is a particular; a particular which you cannot substaniate, or perhaps you can, with a reference.
