esperence Quote "and if Australia were to be subjected to 'non-international armed conflict', or perhaps an 'invasion' from external sources, you can be sure that un-elected organisation you speak of is the one we will look to for assistance."

We have mutual assistance agreements with America and probably England, the UN do not have an effective fighting army they rely on members willing to lend troops and ca only do so with Security Council authorization.

Quote "I fail to understand what all the objections are to immigration?" Do you think for 1 minute those so called refugees who came to Australia would willingly take up arms to defend Australia?

That questions includes the Chinese, Lebanese, Indian etc immigrants who came but not as refugees?

Judging by the number of people at the shops on Christmas Eve, we have far too many people here now.

We need to halt immigration and refugee intake as well as Mr Dutton scratching a few more that hold our laws in contempt.

Philip S

Are mutual assistance agreements really worth the paper they are written on? What would happen if Middle America were to be subjected to a natural disaster of immense magnitude, where would you be then? UK is pretty far away, and with all the Brexit worries going on there, would they help?

As for immigrants not helping, they too have a house, investments and belongings to guard. Obviously, not everyone thinks like you do.

“and if Australia were to be subjected to 'non-international armed conflict', or perhaps an 'invasion' from external sources, you can be sure that un-elected organisation you speak of is the one we will look to for assistance”.

That wouldn't do us much good. The UN doesn't have an army. All they do is send a collection of people from different countries who don't even speak the same language, in pretty blue berets, to “observe”.

More worrying though is what will happen if we are ever attacked. This multicultural rubbish has been taken so far, we would be lucky to get anyone to defend the country. Even luckier if we haven't already got a substantial number of dual citizens who would help the enemy. Our standing army suffers from 'nerves’ and political correctness, and an influx of females who won't last five minutes in combat.

You cannot have 'diversity’ and expect to remain secure in adverse circumstances. At least a quarter of the population doesn't share our values at best; at worst they are opposed to our values and actually hate us.

Bazz,
I think that now our population would be too apathetic to do anything. shorten is safe.

Multiculturalism has ruined any national pride.

I never thought that Aussies would approve of anal intercourse either, but they did a while back.
