Fortunately, the government has refused to sign the United Nations 'Global Compact on Migration'. But, what will happen if/when Labor is elected next year?

Morrison has correctly said that, apart from removing our sovereign rights to control our borders, the Compact does not differentiate between legal immigration and illegal immigration. But, not out in the open is its threat to free speech.

The Compact calls for sovereign governments to SHAPE PERCEPTIONS OF IMMIGRATION - to shove the Leftist UN view of migration and open borders down our throats, with anyone daring to question mass immigration being 'racists' needing re-education. At local taxpayer expense, of course.

The Compact also calls for SENSITISATION and EDUCATION of the media on 'terminology' and 'appropriate' messages about immigration – interfering with the freedom of the press.

There has been the usual 'not binding' nonsense from proponents of the latest UN attempt at world government, but as the professionals have pointed out, activist judges are not above using such documents to 'interpret' aspirational aims into LAW. And, we have had plenty of experience with what the rogues in the Australian Human Rights Commission are capable of.

Labor hasn't yet announced whether of not it would sign the Compact if/when it achieves government next year. I fear that the relief afforded by the Coalition's refusal to sign up will be short lived.

Let us be clear, Labor understands it dare not get too far from the current policy in this matter
They will continue doing little things to make it better but any fear and loathing on this issue is fantasy

Belly,
So Labor will continue to 'make it better' for whom? The immigrants and refugees no doubt and to hell with any improvements that will benefit our citizens. Any watering down of the present regulations will see an increase in both legal and illegal arrivals. Like the proposed increase, by Labor, with increasing the the refugee intake will see more African youths running ammock in Melbourne, and now they are doing the same in Brisbane, as shown this week.

Immigration and refugees need to be cut not increased if citizens are to benefit.

Yes ttbn the proposals from the UN are indeed frightening and it will be Labor that considers them for the leftist ideology. Voters need to be very careful how they vote.

I was planning to vote anything but Liberal at the next election.

However Shortens speech & the policies on housing & refugees indicate Labor will still do almost anything, no matter how bad for the country, just to buy a few extra votes.

They have proved again they are a disgusting bunch, who have no interest in anything other than buying votes.

They have managed to send me scuttling off to the Liberals, something I did not believe was possible before this Labor conference.

How the hell decent people like Belly can continue to support, after this last stupidity them I really can't imagine. I also can't imagine how anyone can be proud to be rusted on to such an immoral bunch.

On the 12th December it was announced that a further 20 country shoppers declined re-settlement in America when they were told that they would NOT RECEIVE welfare in the U.S. The 90 in all who have refused re-settlement in America are “ungrateful political opportunists” according to Peter Dutton.

These illegals are most likely sweating off on a Labor government next year, when they will have all of the welfare they came for at our expense. In the meantime, the wages and pensions of Australians are stagnant and look like staying that way for the foreseeable future.

I note with interest that Belgium signed the comapact.
Immediately the yellow vests took to the streets and the prime minister
had to resign.
Take note Bill Shortlan.
Anyone know a source of cheap yellow vests ?
