//Lets take the illegal shootings and torture of innocent people in Iraq etc you think this is okay and the perpetrators should be allowed to continue doing it?//

Nope. Not sure why you've got that impression; I'm in favour of the 8th Amendment.

//What about the Panama papers that were leaked you think this should not have happened so rich people and corporations could continue the illegal money activities?//

No, I don't think that either, but I'm not sure what it has to do with the morality of torture.

//I would like you to name 1 illegal activity that was reported that should not have been and the perpetrators let do what they were doing?//

And I'd like you to actually read my comments and then post replies that are in some way relevant to my comments.

What is it, exactly, that you find so troubling about the 8th Amendment?

//I am sure if your kids were at risk you would stop your self righteous virtue signaling toni//

Runner, I think there are probably a lot less people than you imagine who regard opposition to torture as 'virtue signaling'.

Sadism has no place in the administration of justice.

Philip S
" to cruel and unusual punishment since 1791"
French citizens reported suspects to the tribunals for execution in Reign of terrorists. Wikileaks should not use its guillotine to behead the Pentagon. CIA spies with cameras are banned under General G Washington's rules of phish hacking troll-elections. Voting down Hilary was cruel and unusual.

How many of us can remember those pictures in that prison in Cuba?
How many here dare not remember?
Too the pictures from a German concentration camp, Eisenhower demanded the world see those photos.
He [far better man than the present leader] said so no one dare say it never happened
If only today,s America valued men like him

" .... you do know wiki leaks first came to our notice when it released film of innocents being killed/murdered by
America military forces?"

Remind us who these "innocents" were who were "killed/murdered by American military forces".

*…Many experiments have been conducted to show the extraordinary extent to which the information obtained (and retained maybe?) by an observer depends upon the observer's own assumptions and preconceptions…*

Q. Is Schulte better or worse than the crowd average, for disclosing state secrets?

As noted with OLO commenters, the question instantly defaults to a left and right issue.

Q. I'd like to know why it is generally perceived as a left wing trait, to spill State secrets.
Is that a fallacy, especially since the information leaked, is often beneficial to all citizens across the board?

So just maybe, the left/right issue is actually unimportant in this case, and obscures a real cause behind the motivation to spill secrets.

Q. Are the culprits simply motivated to defect loyalty to the State, by an opportune avenue for relieving a need for revenge against an employer, or more altruistically, revenge against a system of Government perceived as controlled by an elite? A conclusion I subscribe to.
