WA lawyer, John Cameron, the man who outed Scott Ludlum as a dual citizen, says that he expects that more politicians "will fall foul" of Section 44 of the Constitution in the coming months, many of whom will be British citizens.

Mr. Cameron said. "There's a crying out need for an independent commission into corruption..". And, that's what we are talking about - corruption. What better place to start than the suspiciously quiet Opposition?

Good on that lawyer for exposing who these treasonous people are.

Constitutional lawyer, George Williams thinks that the High Court decision on the dual citizenship fiasco was geared to a black letter approach to the law and a 'leaning away' from activism. He also said that it was necessary to have an audit because he suspected that a number of other MPs would be ineligible under Section 44 if their dual citizenship was disclosed.

I like the 'leaning away from activism', and I have to say that the High Court has acted in the responsible manner I did not expect of them.

I agree ttbn, a Federal ICAC is a absolute necessity. Here in NSW if it was not for the ICAC such Labor scum bags as Eddie Obeid, Ian McDonald and Joe Tripodi, may never have been brought to justice. Corruption in politics is not confined to the Labor Party, there was a conga line of Liberals fronting the Commission as well.
Its rather transparent why federal Labor, and the Coalition parties, are opposed to a federal body to independently investigate their own, they have to much to hide.

Yes, Paul. No exceptions. They are all at it, with only the two Greens falling on their swords with honour.
