This mornings news says it all the federal government has blocked the Medea's right to review those early AWAs.
If those who think such a move is ok could just research why it is being done.
And if they could just look at the facts about those early crimes against low income Australians.
Oh yes some are very well served by AWAs, but for every high to middle income worker on one, who sat down and worked one out with the employer.
10 exist that saw an imposed AWA ,no choice sigh it or you have not got a job, almost 1 in 5 took every award condition away.
most ,near every one took some conditions away.
From Australian workers ,not unionists most could not afford union dues on the wages they had before that AWA.
Many did not want to be in a union.
Workchoices took to these working Aussies like a dog to a rabbit.
That is why this government so full of lies and miss information, so well represented by its foolish lie bloated IR minister hides the truth from us all.

Belly,
Well said!

If it was good news they'd be shouting it from the rooftops and taking out full-page ads in all the newspapers.

If it's like this in "boom times", what have we got in store when the economy turns bad?

For some the true powerless, the economy has turned bad.
It did so the day an AWA was imposed on them, lower wages and less conditions.
But yes the economy can not sail on at record levels forever a bust is just a sure bet.
I want to highlight again most victims of workchoices so far have not been unionists ,true, low income earners and casuals are mostly non union.
Howard understands this and that the first round in his personal war is against those who already are suffering.
WHY?
why s our government hiding the results of these first AWAs?
Why are we not trusted to know?
John Howard shame bloke shame.
John on election night at about 6.30 and your massive loss is clear I want you to understand those victims of your spite driven workchoices will join me in a beer.
Any chance mare that you may cry just a little for us?
Big Mal did and we remember with joy.
This voter asks why not let us know those locked away results

Deliberately blocking the media from accessing these documents indicates that Howard has something to hide from us.

Unfortunately this also indicates our powerlessness in the face of corrupt government.

It amounts to this, this shambolic government has told us we can not see our own opinions!
Having worn out the country's Patience with lies and miss information it now in the lowest way censors what we can read.
It may well not be too late Mr Howard, given the bloated numbers you have so badly miss used in the house.
Say yourself and about 8 of your front bench go now, free up the party from its failures.
Bring a true Liberal to the leadership role say now.
Or give those like myself the best present ever on election night.
A mirror image of Mad Marks train wreck , but this time the Howard driven lies and plausible denieability express.

If AWAs are such a good idea, why were they so toxic when they were voluntary ?
