Talking about sitting on the sidelines.
I work part-time as a volunteer in an aged-care
facility. There's quite a few of us. We take
people to their special organised programs
during the week (music, art) and we have to sit
sort of on the sidelines so that we can take them
back at the conclusion of their programs.
However, we are present and actively involved.
What all of us are doing we're doing with love
and what we're doing has a purpose.
