problem with our electrical system.
I doubt they have the mental capacity to understand what the experts
they will have with them are putting to them.
Their decisions will be based on political realities.
Here are a few realities you can check for yourself.
I have been watching the National Electrical Market Operators web site

It shows in the several months that I have watched it that NSW & Vic
NEVER generate more or equal electricity than their demand.
They are totally reliant on the excess generated in Queensland.
It might be because Queensland electricity is cheaper, it may not be.
Sth Aust feed into Victoria most of the time but the amounts are small.
It is a warning of rolling blackouts to come.
I suspect that what we are seeing on this site is a straight statement
"We told you so !".
