What is needed is a carbon price, business is calling for it to stabilise the allowable pollution. As is now we are running without any rules of engagement. Labor the Greens and Turnbull in the sensible centre need to come up with some statistics of compromise.
Labor is willing to make decisions and the liberals are balking.
Business is demanding direction, in which they can invest, at present we are in uncharted territory.

You already have a carbon price it is the subsidy given to wind & solar generators. You seem a little scared of Nuclear - don't be. If we continue down this path we will all end up suffering. The world has to have base-load generators, be what they may. But if you believe in CO2 causing anthropological climate change then go for the base load generators producing little or no CO2.
