The apology was gracious and confidently expected by the ABC of the ethical and credible Quadrant. The whole article was withdrawn, which was generous to a fault. It is also censorship, because no-one gets to read the article.

Maybe others can help you and also to explain how poor satire, though ill-timed, might be so threatening to those hardened ABC journalists? After all, where such serious offence ought result in a gaol term it is worth some explanation.
