Steele,
If you doubt that muslim NRL fans are wearing jerseys with 911 printed on them, you can look it up for yourself. You are the one casting the doubt so prove it!

Just a tip, try last Sundays newspapers or watch some home games of the Bulldogs and you may even see some. NRL will play it down.

To me the issue is very secondary to the issue at Punchbowl Boys School and simply shows the arrogance and contempt these muslims have for our country and society. Nothing new in that, just like the celebrations at Lakemba after the 911 terror attack. Should have let them go to support ISIL in Syria

Dear kactuz,

You seem to have missed my point entirely.

I am not defending the religion. Nor Islamic
fundamentalists. What I am defending is
an entire category of people and the prejudice rooted
in generalisations against them that does not allow for
individual differences. But in this country this has
always been the case for some (including government
policies - like the White Australia). So that's nothing
new. One group or another has always been targeted - be
it our Indigenous , Asians, Italians, Greeks, Polish, Irish, et cetera - the
list goes on. It's always the latest "flavour of the month,"
that replaces the previous targets. It appears to be the norm.

Cheers.

Foxy,

Who else has a Holy Book that equals in ferocity the Qur'an of the Moslems?

Shew me one Islamic Scholar (they do not have clerics) who has dared to challenge the word of the Prophet.

Foxy,

For starters, Islam definitely does NOT allow for “individual differences” itself. But, I cannot find any connection at all between the medieval, religio/political creed of Islam, and the people on your list, unless some of them also follow the Islamic doctrine, which you have not taken into account. ,

Surely you are not still comparing the minor discomfort caused by 1950s immigrants of different ethnic and racial backgrounds with the current intake of globalising Islam? Even the newer Asian immigrants cannot be compared with Muslims in any way whatsoever. They have not brought an entirely undemocratic, alien way of life to us. They mix and intermarry; work, and generally add to our well-being. They pretty much put Australianism before any religious and politically dogma.

You might have your own reasons for defending Muslims, but comparing them with other people who have successfully settled in Australia, and proven that they are not going to cause us problems, does not explain your reasons to the rest of us. Perhaps you don't feel any need to explain your reasons but then, what is the point of making statements?

No Foxy there has NEVER been a group like Islamists.
They do NOT believe in multiculturalism.

You never answered my question.

When push comes to shove they will follow the mosque as they have
done in EVERY other country. Give me ONE exception, just ONE !

I realised it would be hard, but --

STEELEREDUX... To your last paragraph first. Many of the druggies I've locked up have behaved in many and varied ways. From sleeping, immediately after they've been 'ramped' & printed, to stacking on a blue. Visions of HITLER inexplicable rocking back 'n forth can be down to many reasons, excitement, nerves, drugs, alcohol, who'd know, I don't. The only common denominator with druggies, is their unpredictability whether male or female.

Punchbowl High School should have neither, Imam nor Christian Chaplain. The purpose of a High School is to educate and prepare kids for either University or a TAFE education. Both are preparatory for obtaining employment. These verbal threats occasioned against the new Headmaster, should've gone to police for immediate reprisal and retaliation. Otherwise the perpetrators will 'again' show their peer groups their power, and how they've won. Thus further cultivating a psychological superiority, that's clearly resistive and antagonistic to the school's authority.

However, I wonder why it is that you bear so much enmity toward BANJO and what he's said? Clearly STEELEREDUX there's a threat in this country from certain elements of the Muslim community. BANJO is fundamentally correct (in principle), with his chronology of immigration. Commencing with the Messrs WHITLAM & FRASER governments. We've all seen progressive governments get it wrong with immigration. Yet we still adopt this softly softly attitude to the question of further Muslims coming here. Why STEELEREDUX, sure as hell I don't know? Are they waiting for S.Western Sydney, to implode with racial strife? You're no fool, surely you must see what's happening in our country?

Why, because our politicians are either too (personally) scared, live in a political vacuum, or have a sizable Muslim electorate, and like living the palatial and opulent style of being a federal politician. I don't understand why you personally support them, when you've clearly seen the burgeoning threat, emanating from their very presence. In Melbourne, they've got 'structured' violent gangs of Somalian and Sudanese terrorizing the 'bejesus' out of all and sundry. You'd expect this behaviour in the suburbs of Beirut or somewhere similar.
