ttbn - The fact that very few MSM outlets covered the story or buried it way down after a lot of links.
Also that a lot of such stories and other world events lately have failed to be covered instead they report on absolutely stupid uninteresting articles or sponsored articles that just want you to buy something.

Correct me if you think I am wrong.

Here is another one, I heard it on the BBC about 4am.
Someone went into a mosque in Zurich and machine gunned the congregation.
Have not heard about that locally, have you ?

Philip,

You found the truth and you laid it before us. I find the truth. This means that we look in the right places. There is no censorship of information in Australia as there is with China or other totalitarian countries; it is just that some organisations don't report what is not in line with their politics. There is nothing we can do about it, there is not really anything wrong about. It's irritating. It's wrong (to me) but some people do not want to hear what you and I know to be the truth. For instance, people who look only to the ABC and Fairfax for the truth are really, truly frightened to find out that they might be wrong, which would affect their egos and their feeling of self. The first 30 years of my life, I was a victim of the Left. I married, met different people with different ideas, and eventually found the truth, and had to work through the embarrassing dogma that I had previously defended and lived by. I understand people who don't want to change. It is painful. They want certain things covered up because they suspect (rightly) that they and everything they have always been will be blown away, and that's not good for the ego or self-esteem. Most people never change their opinions on anything. I regard myself as one of the lucky ones who has managed it. And the biggest benefit for me has been an unbiased cynicism of politics (all politicians are absolute pricks), and 'censorship', bias, different opinions don't worry me one bit. All of us have one vote after 3 years (federal) and 4 years (state) and that's it, no matter what we say or think in between. It won't be those of us on OLO, Facebook or Twitter, nor know-all journalists and commentators who decide the next election, it will be 5% of the great 'Silent Majority' who never express an opinion. What we do here is just a sport.

Here it is;
Three people were injured when a man stormed into a
Zurich mosque and opened fire on people at prayer, police said.

Does not sound like a machine gun attack.
Is it a case of the turned worm ?

Hi Bazz,

I got it from the ABC. That's local isn't it? Are you saying that we should be hearing more about it? I read the headline and and little else because I think it's ho hum these days, given that it now happens all the time in countries which have been sillier than ours in letting inappropriate people into their folds. Import the people, you import the culture. I don't wish to seem unfeeling, and mistakes have been made, but, hell's bells, how many mistakes does it take to make these European idiots to wake up. They seem to have a death wish.

Yes of course ABC is local.
I missed the mid day news but did not hear it this morning.
Even BBC world news does not have it on their news web site.
Also commercial radio did not cover it.
You are right of course, it is becoming quite hum drum these days.
There is a bulletin put out once a month with a report for
each day of Islamic attacks or criminal activities in Europe.
They seldom miss a day in the month without such an attack or aggressive statement.

One lady I know has heard of hardly any Islamic attacks in Europe.
She had heard of the Hebdo Charley one. She is a retired school teacher
so that might account for it.
It is quite true that very little of what happens reaches our ears.
Five or ten people being killed or wounded is just not news any more.
Ho Hum Boring !
