Something funny is going on with that link Foxy.
I'm sure its correct but it doesn't seem to work, it's quite strange.

Quote from the express.co.uk link
"According to local reports, the African teenagers had been terrorising people enjoying the beach for hours, stealing phones, bikes and other possessions.
Police were called to the south-east Melbourne beach on a number of occasions throughout the day but each time the gang would just disperse before joining up again to continue their campaign of intimidation."

Too hard for the police?
Too hot?
Couldn't be bothered?

Dear AC,

The link finally worked. Try my last post on page 1.

I felt so sorry for the young bloke who got beaten
and for his family and friends.
I watched him being interviewed on the news.
I can't understand the behaviour of these thugs
or the police in this case. Hopefully, the police
will look into what happened and why?

Hey Foxy,
Yes I feel the same, poor blokes were just going about their jobs.

This is why the right get so frustrated with the left; because we feel they're detached from reality.

Political Correctness would dictate that if anyone spoke badly about these violent foreign-born youths, they'd be labelled racist.
But it's fairly obvious they are crapping on our race and country. Again, racist.
And if someone tried to point out that multiculturalism has a nasty side and isn't all just 'sitting around the campfire singing kumbaya's' then that would be racist too.

Who wants these people in our country?
Oh that's right we make foreigners Australians of the year instead.

It just wouldn't be politically correct to have an Australian of the Year be someone who was born here, unless they were part of a persecuted minority group.

Dear AC,

I've always thought that our human behaviour
is largely shaped by the groups to which we belong and
by the social interaction that takes place within those groups.
We are what we are and we behave the way we do because
we happen to live in particular societies at particular
points in space and time. If we were born, say, a modern
Chinese peasant, or an African native, or an ancient
Greek, or a feudal aristocrat, our personality, our
opinion in life, and our social experience would be
utterly different.

We have seen that people in different walks of life
may interpret the same phenomenon in very
different ways. People tend to see the world from a
viewpoint of subjectivity - an interpretation based
on the influence of personal values and experiences.

Therefore in order to maintain cohesion in our
society - how we interact in this country has to be
governed by legislation. That is an institutional
framework that preserves tolerance and protects order.
We should all be obligated to
obey the same laws so that we can have social cohesion.
So far it has worked in the majority of
cases. It is important that we ensure that all of our
citizens subscribe to the rule of law.

In the case of this recent horrific attack - I trust
that the police who are investigating the matter will get
to the bottom of it and the appropriate action will be taken.

cont'd ...

You said - "We make foreigners Australians of the Year."

The following website sums things up rather well
(in my opinion of course):

It's worth a read.
