religion aside, evolution fails miserably when it comes to science. Complex design is impossible without a Designer, order can't come out of chaos and the big bang is the most unscientific fantasy going around. Any honest scientist knows these simple facts. We are still waiting for one singular transitional fossil. Evolution is nothing short of a unscientific hoax.

Dear runner,

As I understand it evolution is a process of gradual
change. The word evolution may refer to various
types of change. For example, scientists generally
describe the formation of the universe as having occurred
through evolution. Many astronomers believe the stars
and planets evolved from clouds of hot gases.
Anthropologists study the evolution of human culture
from tribal societies to complex industrialised
societies. And so it goes.

The process of evolution most commonly refers to the
formation and development of life on the earth. The
theory of evolution helps explain two fundamental
facts of nature - the tremendous variety of living
organisms and their basic similarities.

I accept the basic principles of evolution within the
framework of my religious beliefs. However, I fully
understand your position.

thanks Foxy no point in continuing to lock horns over this one. Many scientist accept the THEORY of evolution while their are many that believe and know it is just that. Evolutionist and Creationism is faith based. Some believe the science confirms their belief. We will agree to disagree.

runner, sounds like those who believe the stories in the bible. If you don't believe in evolution and GW, do you believe in Adam and Eve and Noah and the flood?

I certainly do Paul. It is certainly much more viable than fish growing legs and then running back into the water because they are not evolved enough and then coming out for another try. I know which one (or Whom) is far more reasonable. The belief that evolution is scientific is a reflection of how dumbed down or how many are incapable of any thinking outside of failed dogma that gives you a pass at school or uni. As you of all peoplw should know that their are far more scieintist that reject evolution than you would be willing to admit. No the science is not settled as shown by the gw con artist.

Dear runner,

Thanks for that.

I certainly am not an expert on the subject however I do have
strong religious beliefs based as you so rightly indicate -
on faith.
