Globalisation NAPLAN tests ranking excuses plays countries against each other to allow education teaching curriculum needs reasons to be moved far away off shore.
Aged 5 years children first attending school are not equal. Child students who have school teachers for parents would have been taught to: read; write and perform maths. Parents continuing to help their children through 13 years of schooling.
Age 5 year children whose parents hated school classroom learning, whom parents had felt years of mental stress, constantly repressing anything that feels like learning, such parents would not do anything to aid their children's learning, other than encourage sports activities as parents had done to aid repressing school learning mental stress.
These two different extremes leads educators to formulate teaching to standard tests. The base line “teaching to tests” begins with children who were gaining guidance and help from parents. The remaining students who have poor learned parents are being forced to keep up, suffering from work tasks which due to available future employment to that of their parents skills will have very few academic requirements.
