Having had the best part of two months break from parliament post election, how pathetic was it for elected members to take an early mark after their first sitting week back.

Surely as their employers we deserve far better than this.

The pollie funny money habit is getting stronger. Debt rises the same under both parties of Honourable Members. China buys power lines and power brokers. Suicides up. Olympic medals down. Sea levels rise. Holden gone. Tas devils , koalas and coral dead. Trump for Prime Minister.

The problem is technically we are the employers but the employees get to dictate and vote for their perks and benefits, indexed for life pensions etc.

Even the way their salary is worked out is a joke because they have control over the people determining it.

Australian Prime Ministers salary is more than the American Presidents.

Politicians don't serve the people they serve themselves.

Ministers "servants" of course are not serving the taxed-or-jailed workers. They are working ministers , servants of the Crown / Peter Cosgrove. Our taxes are personal rent on George III's land he got from Jimmie Cook 1770. Charles-and-Camilla will employ the prime
servant minister next and going by Charles' profit policy on his estates of poms , he may send a special royal letter for his Orstrailians to put more in the plate. He is on the Civil List for social security.

If we truly get the politicians we deserve, we must be really awful! The clowns in Canberra have never been worse, in my time. Turnbull, now PM for around 12 months, has done absolutely nothing to alleviate the problems of the country since he and his equally useless mates did the dirty on Abbott. Turnbull and co. are 'too busy' to deal with 18C (straight from Turnbull's mouth): but, what are they busy with? It must be a state secret. The debt is still climbing; everything the Coalition is supposed to stand for is fading away; not a single government politician has said a word about the 3 young students being persecuted by the HRC because they were standing up for their rights; not a word from the government when an HRC Commissioner ASKED for people to complain about Bill Leak's cartoons; no response to a U.S request to help stand up to China in the South China Sea; Turnbull is considering a good old suck-up to leftist Obama at a proposed summit on refugees, all things (if he can find the time of course). The lest is endless. The man and his followers are dead loss - a fraud against us,especially after the 'big man' excuses for doing away with Abbott. And now, the idiots lost two votes in parliament because 3 of the little dears wanted to go home. Shorten pretends he won. Turnbull pretends he has workable majority. Ah, one more: not a word about a policeman copping a rock in the face during an aboriginal riot in Kalgoorlie. We carry on in auto pilot mode.
