Hi there TTBN...

Whatever FOXY does or doesn't do, she's an integral part of this Forum and one that I value immeasurably! Though I don't share her political proclivities, I value her as a person, just like I value everyone else who seeks to articulate their opinions on the Forum.

OSW,

That's fine. I have ignored the person for some time, and that works for me. What other people think is up to them. Her running mate, suseonline, had the gall to suggest that she was run off by "bullies". Ill-informed people seem to think that bullies are all noise. Not so. Foxy is a very adept bully, in a quiet, mealy mouthed way: she advises other posters whose opinions she doesn't like that they will be 'ignored' if they maintain their errant ways. Ironically, I have ignored her posts because I don't like her holier than thou attitude and and her thinking that she is right, and that's that. I wouldn't have said word about her or her absence had I not seen the sickening and sycophantic wailings of the usual suspects. I am surprised that you, too, have have taken up the cudgel on her behalf.

If you check the 'Users Online' you will see that the said poster is presently online and was also online soon after your OP. For example,

"Users Currently Online

[downloaded 22 March 2016 2.24pm]

Obvious to anyone from the main board that opens automatically.

Dear ttbn,

Everyone who posts including you is a part of our online community. We have many different ideas, and we are many different people. Graham Young delists those whose attacks on other posters become too outrageous. Voltaire probably didn't say, "I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." It seems a good motto for olo.

Thank You everyone (especially dear Hassie) for again
expressing your concern for me and for your kind
words.

I'm all right. It's not my health that caused
my absence currently. It's my computer.

I kept having problems. I would receive the
message that I was not connected to the internet.
That my internet connection was down. It drove my
patience for days. What I didn't get was that the
computer would come up for a few minutes and I would
type up a post, then the red lights would come on
and I'd get the same message again( that I was not
connected to the internet). And the frustrating thing
was that I could not send my posts.

Finally today, I called in a technician to see if
the problem could be fixed. Fingers crossed that it
has been. The technician claims it was my moden.
I hope that it stays fixed as I do enjoy most
of the inter-actions on OLO.

Also, to make matters difficult - during this time
we had to deal with putting my mum into a nursing
home. Her dementia had deteriorated to the point
where she needed 24/7 care. Her current aged- care facility
was not able to provide her with what she needed.

It was very hard for her having to be moved from a
facility that she was used to and where she knew
the staff. However, the
new place is excellent, (run by BUPA), the staff are very experienced
and caring. Hopefully mum will eventually settle in.
I shall be working there as a volunteer to make the
transition easier for her.

My health is coming along slowly. I'm doing well.
What with weekly physio and daily exercises, I am
making progress.

I appreciate all your well wishes and concern. It's
good to have such compassionate and caring people on
the forum.

In case my computer stuffs up again - I'd like to wish
you and yours, a lovely Easter break.
And once again - Thanks to you all for your kindness.

All The Best.

Sonofgloin,
I made enquires about Belly a couple of weeks ago, but as far as my contact knew he was still about. He lives near him and thinks
if he was unwell he would have heard.
His licence has not lapsed.
